Hermitage In Laterza

Saturday evening, reservation for 9 pm. The outside space was almost empty, perhaps that's why the wait wasn't excessive. Only 20 minutes for four pizzas. The pizzas were very good. I strongly advise against the desserts: UNSUSPECTABLE. They were obviously defrosted in a microwave, which made them both frozen and "melted" at the same time. The liqueurs, requested at the table, weren't brought to us for some unknown reason. The location is beautiful, but parking is a problem. A pass, but not a full score.

Excellent food. The location was also very impressive, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and humorous.

RESTAURANT pizzeria immersed in an enchanting pine forest in the center of Laterza. We ate very well with great service. Good and transparent prices as per the QR code scan.

We had pizza, and it was very good, with plenty of options. I would have preferred draft beer, but they only had bottled ones.

In the end, spending €58 for an appetizer, two first courses (with only a bottle of water, without wine) seemed a bit excessive compared to what was actually offered. A constructive suggestion: if you decide to raise the prices, it would be right to also adjust the quantities. The slightly larger portion does not weigh too much on the costs in the kitchen, but it can make a big difference on the customer experience. For info when I got home I ate🤦🏻‍♂️

Amazing place and truly exceptional pizza, one of the best I've ever tried! Too bad about the endless wait: the service should definitely be improved. Recommended, but arm yourself with patience!
