The best sushi in Pavia, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely an above-average all-you-can-eat experience.

I came back for lunch after a while and it seemed to have gotten worse, quite a bit.

Lovely place, attentive staff. It's a shame about the menu, which is a bit sad. It feels like a pre-COVID all-you-can-eat restaurant, remember? Few dishes, very simple, with plating that's even a little depressing, it even rhymes. Anyway, the food was excellent, the salmon was top-notch, that's definitely something to note. I'll be back if they revamp the menu. Thanks.

I would have given five (or even six) stars for some items — this restaurant clearly aims for the high end of the dining spectrum. Most dishes are fantastic. My favorites are anything with truffles and, more broadly, the raw preparations: beautifully presented, perfectly portioned, and incredibly fresh. The wok dishes were also a highlight — everything I tried was flavorful, well-seasoned, and served at just the right temperature. Nothing was overcooked, and the plating was elegant. The fried items (like tempura) didn’t shine as much. While they were cooked to the right point, the flavor of the oil was a bit too noticeable for my taste. The service is warm and attentive. The waitresses were especially charming. Some of the waiters looked a little serious, but they were professional and polite — a far cry from rushed or disinterested service you might encounter elsewhere. The ambiance leans slightly noisy for the type of refined experience the kitchen offers, but it’s not a dealbreaker. A fun touch is ordering from a tablet at your table. One small improvement would be the ability to view your previous selections and receive a full summary of your order afterward (perhaps by email — also a smart way for the restaurant to build a mailing list). All in all, a lovely experience — and one I look forward to repeating many times.
