The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The food is excellent, but I recommend trying the canederli because they were delicious. Plus, the staff is really friendly. A special mention goes to the woman who served our table: she was helpful, honest, and friendly.

We found this restaurant by chance. I'll remember this Christmas Eve lunch with great fondness. I had to congratulate the waitress because everything was perfect. I saw other reviews where the only complaint was the limited selection of desserts; desserts are eaten at the pastry shop.

Everything was absolutely delicious. We even arrived a little early, before the kitchen opened, received a warm welcome, and were able to enjoy a relaxed aperitif. Afterwards, we took our seats in the dining room. The service was exceptionally attentive and friendly, the food outstanding and prepared with great care. The atmosphere was simply wonderful – you immediately feel at ease. A truly perfect evening, highly recommended!

Two nights ago I visited this typical trattoria under the arcades of Merano. A charming little place with wonderfully friendly staff. We ate a plate of delicious speck and cheeses, a trio of dumplings, green gnocchi, and another first course, all delicious. My sincere compliments to the entire staff at this restaurant for the delicious food, their genuine kindness, and their friendliness. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return when I return to Merano. Well done!

A friendly, simple place with exquisite food. Here you can eat authentic Tyrolean goulash. Impeccable service. One of the few remaining authentic places in Merano.

Patriarch

15/02/2026: The Patriarch restaurant in Tirol has been renovated in recent years and has developed very well. In winter, it's practically the only place open in Dorf Tirol. In summer, they regularly have steak weeks, which are highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. Good value for money.
