A very welcoming, traditional restaurant with truly delicious traditional dishes and generous portions. The service was friendly and efficient. The bill was absolutely fair. The drive to get there is a bit steep, but it's definitely worth it!

A narrow, seemingly endless road leads from Marlengo to this splendid winery/restaurant... a well-kept atmosphere, a wonderful garden, and a grill that blazes as evening falls. Chicken, ribs, shanks...all expertly paired with a local wine, under the cool foliage! What else, would someone more famous say?

The journey there was definitely a bit of an adventure: a very long, extremely narrow path, and we were quite nervous, waiting to see if anyone would pass us by. But in the end, it was more than worth it! The farm is beautifully situated – a picture-perfect beer garden. It's hard to imagine a more beautiful place. The view over Merano is simply breathtaking. For us, it's probably the most impressive view we've ever seen – absolutely top-notch! The menu is small, but perfectly adequate. Unfortunately, we were a bit early for the barbecue – it already smelled wonderful, and the food on the grill looked very tempting. We'll definitely try it next time. We were warmly welcomed by a young and an older woman – both super nice and welcoming. The waiter, however, seemed rather reserved – a smile would have been the icing on the cake. To finish, we had Kaiserschmarren: a huge portion, very tasty, but rather untypical. Instead of the classic fluffy Schmarren, it was more like a giant, slightly greasy pancake. Not the original, but delicious!

A treat for the senses… but a rushed one The views are, without a doubt, some of the best in the entire region. A true pleasure for the senses: the plains, the vineyards, and the surrounding landscape are simply unforgettable. The cuisine is high-quality, traditional, and well-executed. The restaurant offers family-produced wines, made and bottled on-site, which are truly exceptional. The only downside: the service management. Every few minutes, someone approaches to ask if everything is okay or if we need anything. While they are polite, the attention feels overly insistent — almost as if they want you to finish quickly or keep ordering. There’s a lack of naturalness and calm in their approach.

Insbesondere Hannes machte den Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis. Im Gebäude ist alles sehr rustikal und voller Hölzer eingerichtet. Super Speisekarte mit regionalen Essen. Als Weingut sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns in den Kerner verliebt.
