Unfortunately, hikers are not welcome here. We arrived during coffee time. After ordering coffee and apple strudel, we were asked if we wanted to buy wine. After a long wait, the coffee arrived. No sign of the apple strudel. After about 10 minutes, the empty cups were taken away. Again, we were asked about buying wine. Our inquiry about the apple strudel we had ordered went unanswered. Some time later, the delicious apple strudel arrived. Unfortunately, this didn't make us forget our frustration.

We were there on a Sunday and it was super crowded. It was very clear that service really struggled - it was chaotic and haphazard. They warned us food will take 45mins to an hour but recommended the spare ribs (which turned out to be really good). When the food finally came, we all concluded it was worth it. The macherroni ragu was really one of the best and all the local dishes were just smashing. We would definitely go back again - but the service of was offputting.

Hidden in the vineyards... No longer an insider tip. Lots of hikers, cyclists, etc. The seating is great and you have a beautiful view of Merano. The food is excellent and the service is very attentive. Prices are a bit on the higher side... Family-run business Reservations recommended if you want to sit further forward in the garden.

We went there by car because my wife isn't very good on her feet, and I have to say the access is quite difficult, and you should be able to reverse on the narrow streets. But you're captivated by the ambiance of the restaurant and even more so by the outdoor area. Vines cover the seating, and further afield are olive and fig trees. There are flowers everywhere, and from the outer tables, you have a fantastic view of the surrounding area, including the castle, Cermes, and Lana. The house wine was tasty, but for the snack, I would have preferred the ham in one piece, not thinly sliced. The Vinschger bread didn't taste fresh either. The service was overly attentive, asking every few minutes if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. But everyone, the manager and the wait staff, were very friendly. The prices were a bit high, but reasonable for the great atmosphere. 👍🏻🍷

Today, we had a great time with 10 people. Wine tasting and delicious grilled food. Everything from spare ribs, grilled chicken, pork knuckles, and more. As a bonus, we also had chestnuts and homemade doughnuts.

A charming place with a breathtaking view, in addition to the whole atmosphere of the place...excellent meat...not to mention the good local wine and the strudel.....

Restaurant serving exceptionally tasty traditional Tyrolean dishes, with a truly breathtaking view of Lana. A beautiful, delicious restaurant with friendly staff, highly recommended.

Wunderschön gelegene Buschenschänke. Toller Blick auf Meran und Umgebung. Romantischer Biergarten. Herzlicher Empfang durch das gesamte Personal. Insbesondere Hannes machte den Aufenthalt zu einem Erlebnis. Im Gebäude ist alles sehr rustikal und voller Hölzer eingerichtet. Super Speisekarte mit regionalen Essen. Als Weingut sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns in den Kerner verliebt.

Wunderschöne Aussicht, freundliche Bedienung und ein tolles Essen. Der Kellner hat uns sehr gerne die Tagesgerichte vorgetragen und auch ansonsten würden wir gut umsorgt. Die Apfelschorle ist aus lokalen Äpfeln und schmeckt wirklich toll und die Weine selbstverständlich auch
