Evocative environment and takes you back in time. We visited it during an event and seeing active characters inside the castle created greater enchantment in the eyes of the little ones. We will definitely return.

A truly evocative experience at the Castello di Salorno, perfect for those looking not only for an excellent lunch, but also a dive into an atmosphere of times gone by. The place has a unique charm, steeped in history, and offers an ideal setting for a day out of the ordinary. Lunch was excellent, with special praise for the grilled ribs: tender, tasty, with that light smokiness that wins you over. Even the cappuccino, simple but well prepared, was able to enhance the rustic flavors of the cuisine. All accompanied by a courteous and helpful service, in line with the warmth of the environment. The only small note that keeps the fifth star away: some organizational details could be improved (perhaps in waiting times), but nothing that ruins the overall experience. In summary, a place to absolutely recommend to those who love good food and places that tell history.

Great place for a refreshment after visiting the castle ruins. Great atmosphere (decorated and prepared with a lot of love), friendly service (self-service), good selection and clean toilets.

A fun place with unique drinks and tasty food.

Medieval inn inside the courtyard of Salorno castle. After the twenty minute walk up the mountain we arrived at the castle, small but very pretty and in good condition. Unfortunately they didn't offer guided tours for Easter, but it was still enjoyable. At the end of the visit we ate some excellent dumplings with cabbage immersed in the atmosphere of the castle. Beautiful experience.

i would give 100 stars if I could

This place is actually amazing! The short hike up to the ristorante makes the whole experience so much more rewarding. They served traditional food and beverages (but I had a Guinness), the vibe is so inviting, and the staff were all extremely friendly and obviously love what they do. I would love to visit again when I'm back in Italy, it's a must see if you love somewhere with character and that tries to give you the most authentic mediaeval experience.

Stopped for a Cappuccino in town and learned about Castle Haderburg. Beautiful and imposing, we knew we had to make this hike up especially because there was a restaurant at the top. So worth it! The staff was super friendly, fun, and welcoming. I wish more people knew about this experience! Top stars! Yes, I bought one of the 15 special bottlings of Haderburg Scotch.

We found out about the place in the castle through advertisements for beer tasting packages. A walk of about 30/40 minutes at a leisurely pace because it's uphill.
