A pleasant walk to the castle, and lunch of pork shank, potatoes, vegetables, and delicious beer: definitely worth it! The staff were super friendly and professional!

This castle is a must-visit. The path up is very beautiful (a bit rocky, so sturdy shoes are recommended). Unfortunately, little of the castle itself remains, but it's definitely worth seeing and historically very interesting. The courtyard is truly knightly, quaintly decorated. The staff are very, very friendly and always up for a joke. The food and drink are excellent. We'll be back.

A must-see, great location with first-class service

A great and atmospheric place. The restaurant is located on the grounds of Haderburg Castle, in its lower part. You really feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Music, food, and service all straight from the Middle Ages. Surprisingly few people for the middle of the season. As for the minus – the coffee could have been better, as it’s made from capsule pods. But the apple cake was delicious! Despite that, the place is amazing.

A beautiful castle ruin, less than a 20-minute walk from the road below. From the top, you have a wonderful view. You can eat and drink there, and a lot of effort has been put into creating a medieval atmosphere. Very well done, a recommended excursion!

We were only up there for the castle. Even my 4-year-old easily managed the climb. It was "Viking Days" during our visit. The armor, swords, tools, and the showmen's clothing seemed authentic. The view was fantastic!

A very nice and interesting place to linger, definitely worth a visit. There's good Guinness at the top after the climb, and there's plenty to explore. The staff is friendly and cheerful, and the view is simply stunning. 🥰👌🏻 Only the burger patties get a point deducted because they weren't cooked through on the inside, but we had goulash to make up for that. 😁😂🤘🏻 Conclusion: 3 Guinness, which is also a schnitzel 😂😂😂

Even if the climb requires some effort, the castle complex and the castle tavern are definitely worth a visit: Spectacular views of the castle and castle life are guaranteed. The owners have lovingly recreated the medieval ambiance, and the castle tavern in the castle courtyard, with its many small arcades and halls, is a great place to linger, not just in the sunshine. Delicious food and friendly service, as well as the huge beer selection, leave nothing to be desired. ☺️ We'd love to come back! ☺️
