Hotel Gutkowski is an excellent Hotel with wonderful staff, clean and spacious rooms and a delicious breakfast. The location in the old city of Syracuse on the island of Ortigia is perfect. You can't go wrong choosing this hotel.

A beautiful little hotel on the Lungomare. The decor is charming, with lovingly chosen details and custom-made furniture. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. The only drawback: mechanical noise from the roof above room 22.

Gutkowski confirms that stars mean nothing. I'm in Sicily for work, specifically looking for hotels, and these are every bit as good as many 4- and 5-star hotels I've visited. In fact, they're a perfect match. The rooms are very simple but clean and spacious, the location is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
