LOOKS GREAT ! My wife and I were back in beautiful Salerno for 6 days....our fav place in Italy. Apart from all the fabulous restaurants, cafes, espresso bars and gelato shops the beauty of Salerno is it's walkability factor. On Saturday we walked from our apartment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele to Bar Rosa al Corso for delicious mid morning cappuccinos. Directly across the mall we saw this sandwich shop and decided to have a peek inside. Lots of amazing looking fresh made sandwiches & more to go. No seating inside but plenty on the covered outdoor dining area. I bought a bottle of spring water and put this spot on our list for future reference. IT'S ALL GOOD !

We went to this restaurant without much expectation and received excellent service. The meals we ordered were delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

19/03/2025: We stopped there by chance. The location is quiet, and invites you to relax, far from the seaside crowds. The dishes are delicious, the limonata and especially the liguine al limone, a specialty of the Amalfi Coast. Dessert is a lemon specialty that is as good as it is surprising. We had a lovely time!
08/11/2024: Came here for lunch. The lemon pasta was ok, the lemon cake was good. Light and fluffy. My husband had a beer and I had a lemoncello. Bill came up to €40. The entire time the host was with us and wouldn't stop talking and telling us how expensive it is to make ends meet. We felt like it was a guilt trip for a bigger tip. It was rather uncomfortable. We ate as quickly as we could and left. There are better restaurants in Minori. We were there 4 days and didn't go back, though we did wave to him when we saw him on the street.

Ristorante Trattoria Ippocampo

12/10/2025: Pasta was PERFECTLY done al dente and the views were spectacular. Very local seafood restaurant on the coast. The waiter brought over the daily catch and had a few recommendations, that were all very simple, but very flavorful. Our table of 4 all got different pasta and fish dishes for a lunch and they were all delicious. Pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend and would definitely go back! Grazie Mille!
14/09/2025: Since we only ordered two pizzas to go, I can't say much about the food on site, but the staff left a good impression on us. Our pizzas tasted very good, and we thought the price was perfectly reasonable. We only had to wait about 5-10 minutes for our orders to be prepared, and we could pay with cash or card. I can highly recommend the takeout option.
