Gustoso In Salerno

15/08/2024: A friend who already knew the place brought us and we were satisfied. We took the cuzzetiello, very good. Price a little high but probably due to the location.

13/08/2024: Surprised to see this place was badly reviewed. I bought fried calamari as I was rushing to catch our boat, had no time to look up the place and just wanted something quick and handy. Maybe waited for 3-4 minutes, friendly guy at the counter didn’t talk much but was smiling, and not impatient with me and my daughter who changed her mind twice about what to order. I had better service here than Andrea Pansa and some of the stores in Amalfi. I was handed freshly fried calamari, almost too hot to hold onto, but best one I’ve had in this trip. The calamari was tender, not covered in thick batter, well seasoned with just salt. I paid top dollar for this, but almost everything in Amalfi is expensive.
