Really recommend to stop on the way to the orange garden/Malta keyhole.. great cappuccino, very good pastries and very friendly and helpful staff.

We came on a rainy day for a quick lunch break. The focaccia and pastrami sandwich was very good, €8 so very affordable. Friendly staff, I recommend it!

We had a delicious meal at Gusto Massimo Bar. They have several lunch options, including healthy ones. Create your own salad of your choice. Something a bit different from pizza! The service is fast and good, Italian style :). They also speak good English, which makes ordering a breeze.

I don't understand the bad reviews at all.
We had rented an apartment right above the place, so every morning we had breakfast and morning coffee here for almost 1 week. We experienced neither bad service nor rude staff. We experienced a few times where there was a lot of stress and a lot of people and maybe not the biggest smiles. But it's far from being rude. We felt we shouldn't rush.
When you're in Rome, you have to expect "tourist prices". We think quality and price went together well.

We tried this bar, and it has straightforward and polite people and good coffee.

We were in Circo Massimo again yesterday and we remember visiting this bar before too. We had a really good Shekarato here last time, and their biscottini are good too. In terms of classic Italian breakfast, this bar is the best you can find in the area. Cheers!
