Martinucci has by far the best pasticciotti in Bari! Especially their pasticciotto filled with ricotta and pistachio is heavenly: the rich, flaky pastry is the perfect vessel for their oozing filling of fresh ricotta and a velvety pistacchio cream. Eat this treat warm to experience it at its best. Their gelato is also good, but lacks a bit in flavor and are negligible compared to their pasticciotti. As the bar is located in busy Piazza Mercantile, it is often very crowded. Thus, the service seam stressed and are not particularly friendly. The prices are fair at 1.70€ per pasticciotto.

Nice place, we had two cups of ice cream; good but the service was quite poor. Basically us in front of the counter, no other customers, the two guys were talking and laughing among themselves without considering us; we had to get their attention. Also the bathrooms, considering the nice place, were pitiful

One of the unique places on the map of Bari, already has its reputation. Their products are based on proven recipes. They are visually and taste great. I ate tiramisu, pistachio soufflé, profiteroles and ice cream. Everything tasted great. When visiting Bari, an absolutely obligatory point on the city map :)

Delicious pastries, cool place. Quite busy. Worth visiting in the morning, then no problems. Standing in line is not worth it.

We (2 persons) have visited this place to have a coffee and some ice cream. We checked the menu which is available via QR Code, which is incomplete. Couldn’t find still water in the menu. The website also implied that we could order online - we couldn’t. So we waited for a waiter. After 5 minutes of 2 waiters running back and forth, we asked them if we could order. Order has been taken, the person was friendly. We ordered ice cream (2 scoops), coffee and still water. The ice cream was super good (passion fruit and lemon). The coffee tastes good, but was too small. The water was disgusting. I suggest anyone to skip the water at this place and go to the next fountain. When I saw another guy comping out this place with a cone and one spoon of ice cream, I realized that I paid 5€ for half the amount of ice cream than this guy had on a 1 spoon cone. The food was delivered quite rough. Just a little harder and the coffee would have spilled over.

Beautiful pastry bar located in the central part of Bari, large premises with a room that can be booked for events. Wide selection of pastries, excellent pasticciotti, cakes and ice creams. Kind and friendly staff. Average quality/price ratio
