I have been to many places in Italy and I eat a lot of ice cream everywhere I go, so I can safely say that I can recognize good ice cream. Gunther's gelato is one of the best ice creams I have tried in Italy. They offer some quite surprising flavors. There I tried the pine ice cream - Wow! It can't get more Italian than that! It reminds me of an oldschool classic Italian barbershop cologne. Amazing!
When in Rome, don't miss the ice cream shop Gunther! I highly recommend them!

Absolutamente fenomenal helado. Gunther Gelato nos dejó boquiabiertos. Cada sabor sabía increíblemente fresco, hecho con ingredientes reales de alta calidad que realmente puedes probar. Solo su selección de chocolate vale la pena visitarla: seis tipos, cada uno rico, complejo e inolvidable. Este no es tu stand de helado turístico promedio; está en un nivel completamente diferente. Si estás en Roma y te encanta el helado, no te pierdas este lugar.

Delicious gelato! Good portion and great service, much better than its competitor next door, the Capri gelato! So don't hesitate, choose GÜNTHER ICE CREAM, it's worth every penny you pay! Some flavors I tried: pistachio, coffee, cinnamon, coconut, tiramisu, straciatella, fleur de latte, dark chocolate... all delicious!!! I recommend it!

Nice gelato, they have original flavors (like zabaione) and lactose free ice cream (you can tell the difference, but they are very good if you are lactose intolerant).
