Gunther Gelato italiano In Roma

Good gelato place to visit especially if you are visiting Pantheon as it’s quite close to it! Lots of options available, and it’s good taste too. However giving only 4/5 as staff is very reluctant to give a taste of the flavours. It was our first time at Gunther and we were unaware of their flavours and was difficult to make a decision. There were 4 of us they only allowed to taste 4 flavours before we made a decision. I appreciate that it could be difficult when they have a huge queue or lots of tourists who aren’t actually going to buy anything, however when we visited we were the only ones in the shop and clearly said we would buy ice cream for each of us. That kind of spoiled the experience to be honest. Overall good taste but not the best gelato in Rome for sure. Also the portions are smaller than in many other gelaterias.

Nice ice cream but not that special. The recommendations for it are a bit exaggerated. We took flavors: pistachio, espresso, tiramisu. Delicious ice cream

So good we went back a second time. Beautiful, freshly made gelato and good value.

Great, inviting shop, spotlessly clean. We tried ice cream and cannoli. Both were incredibly delicious 🥰 You can taste the ingredients, and the cannoli are made fresh to order. There are a few comfortable high chairs to sit on. It wasn't busy when we were there.

Good ice cream, typically creamy but nothing special. I've had better in Rome. The price is a bit high for the amount served.

Near the Pantheon, this ice cream shop is a gem: it uses genuine ingredients and serves quality ice cream at average prices for the area, where it's easy to fall into tourist traps selling substandard food at exorbitant prices. Recommended.
