Guero In Bologna

Guero is certainly one of the most popular cocktail bars in Bologna, with a vast drink menu of unquestionable quality. As an expert, I recognize the care and attention, but I find the prices a little too high for the location. In a more exclusive context, they would perhaps have been more justified. The American sweet potatoes were an exceptional surprise: crispy, well-seasoned, and virtually unavailable at this level in the city. I really hope they remain a fixed standard, because they are top marks. I was curious to try the pastrami, but I opted for the tacos, convinced by the description that they used the same meat. Unfortunately, a big disappointment: the tacos were cold, with hard and dry meat, definitely a failure. In summary: excellent (but expensive) cocktails, memorable sweet potatoes, disappointing tacos. Guero has potential, but with some improvements he could be truly flawless.

What a wonderful place to have an excellent drink after a long day of discovering Bologna. :) This year was our second time to Bologna, and we discovered this bar last year on our first trip. Naturally, we came here right away on our second trip along with a few friends who have never been here. We all had a blast with all those interesting and delightful cocktails. Maybe a few too many, but who cares? They are just too tasty and for the quality you get, very fair in price. We had to return literally every evening on our weekend trip to Bologna. It's definitely a must visit for everyone who enjoys good food and especially drinks. We'll be back for sure :) PS, kindly asking for a recommendation is a good way to manoeuvre through the extensive menu. And it might grant you the taste of an off menu drink, to be honest, the best one I've had there :)

Excellent experience from a person who lived in Mexico... what can I say, wonderful. Tacos very similar to the Mexican style but with a European twist. A truly refined cocktail list and an incredible selection of tequila and mezcal.

We accidentally found this bar on the map. Even though the tables were full, we were offered a table reserved for an hour. Later, when an hour had passed, we were offered to move to the also reserved table, and after half an hour to another. Pleasant staff who are really helpful. The staff is well versed in the bar list and will help you choose a cocktail depending on your tastes (the bar list is huge, you couldn’t even read it all the way through). The cocktails are very tasty, the whiskey sour was great (usually not every bar serves a properly made whiskey sour, but here it is prepared professionally), I recommend trying PALOMA QUERIDA

Loads of nice cocktails and drinks. Very nice atmosphere. The service was spot on. Recommend it for drinks and cocktails. We did not try the food, except some nachos with guacamole which were very good.

Lively place with a wide range of cocktails! On recommendation we ordered Cucumber Martini and Basil in town, both exceptional! Special mention for the burrito with vegan chili (off-menu option), really good!!! However, there are excellent vegan choices on the menu. Trained and kind staff! Definitely worth trying
