Excellence the environment and the service a little hidden in the alley unfortunately the mobile phone had a bit of difficulty in bringing us to the table quickly and discreetly the food and wine were excellent we had the amazing €55 menu on offer then the grappa to finish was obviously on offer, I highly recommend it

Anna's fault! Excellent restaurant. High quality service. Suggestive location. Honest prices. My wife and I booked a table on a Friday evening, in February, and ordered the Florentine tasting menu. We couldn't have made a better choice. Simple but tasty starter, excellent meat. The menu also included service, water, side dishes, desserts and wine, a good bottle of it. To our surprise also the coffees! Speaking of wine, ours was called Anna. Not bad! After we had enjoyed (almost) the entire bottle, my wife accidentally spilled some coffee on the tablecloth... the staff immediately took care of preparing it again. I then pointed out, ironically, that it was probably "Anna's" fault. Shortly after, having paid the bill, I approached the wrong door to exit the place. The waiter promptly pointed to and opened the correct door, telling me: is it "Anna's" fault? What can I say, if one day we pass through Siena again, we will definitely return to Bagoga!

Excellent dishes with both traditional land menu and more recent cuisine. I highly recommend the Cinta Senese white ragù. Good wine list with a decent choice of reds throughout the country. Good value for money, generous portions. Quick, discreet and courteous service

As always, quality food, delicious wine (made by them, in Montalcino), an excellent peposo. Friendly atmosphere, fast cuisine and impeccable service. I recommend peposo and cheesecake. Well done

Este fue el primer restaurante que probamos en Siena y no decepcionó. Estaba en el extremo lejano de la ciudad vieja, casi saliendo del distrito turístico. Fácil de encontrar y el ambiente era bullicioso y agradable. Una cosa que mi esposa y yo hacemos cuando evaluamos un restaurante es ver quién está realmente allí (también leemos primero las reseñas italianas y luego las inglesas). Cuando estuvimos allí estaba lleno (es bueno tener una reserva) , pero éramos los únicos no italianos en el lugar. También era obvio por la relación entre el personal y los clientes, que muchos eran clientes antiguos. Así que cuando leo comentarios de personas que están molestas porque la comida no coincidía con lo que esperaban de la comida "italiana" o comida "local", tengo que preguntarme qué de su propia cultura proyectan en la comida en lugar de entender realmente lo que los lugareños hacen de hecho comen. Específicamente elegimos este restaurante porque mi esposa es una gran comedora de carne y para nuestro primer almuerzo en Italia para este viaje quería un bistec (hemos estado en Italia tres veces este año, jaja. Solemos ir a Italia una vez al año, así que estábamos compensando por no poder viajar durante el Covid). Leímos que este era un lugar para carnívoros, así que fuimos felices. Habíamos tenido un gran desayuno, así que en lugar de un antipasto pedimos una guarnición de espinacas (muy agradable). Compartimos eso y pappardelle al ragu di cinghiale (ya que se debe cuando en la Toscana y Siena es conocido por el jabalí). Era abundante pero no pesado, y el ragu se mezcló bien con la pasta de modo que el sabor de la pasta en sí era igual de parte del sabor (siempre me sorprenden las críticas que se molestan porque no hay suficiente salsa - ¿algunas personas no se dan cuenta de que la pasta también está ahí para el sabor y no solo para la textura? ). El filete, por supuesto, es para lo que vinimos, y en esto mi esposa y yo estábamos divididos en opinión. Prefiero medio raro, mientras que mi esposa siempre quiere raro. Esto no es un problema cuando pedimos por separado, pero ella quería el hueso T, así que lo pedimos raro. Esto está bien porque las rodajas externas suelen ser poco comunes de todos modos. El bistec de la parrilla muy bien y la calidad general de la carne era excelente. Donde mi esposa estaba decepcionada era que todo el filete era medio raro. Ella estuvo de acuerdo en la calidad, pero se sintió decepcionada en la ejecución. Sin embargo, si te gusta medio - raro, no te decepcionará. No probamos la carta de vinos ya que estábamos en el último día de alguna medicación que estábamos tomando y no pudimos mezclar alcohol con ella, así que no podemos comentar allí. El personal era atento y amable. Al final de la comida tenían un pequeño regalo de Navidad para que los clientes se lo llevaran, lo cual fue agradable.

In soggiorno a Siena x il capodanno abbiamo provato a entrare in questo ristorante alle 14 circa del 31 dicembre, certo che mi avrebbero respinto, ed invece non solo ci hanno fatto accomodare, ma il servizio è stato cortese e veloce come niente fosse. Per i piatti confermo quanto scritto da altri, ottima cucina toscana in ambiente caratteristico (c’è un’intera parete degli innumerevoli premi vinti durante l’attività) , conto nella media del centro di Siena, anzi forse qualche € in meno!! Sicuramente da consigliare e da tornarci, magari non il 31/12
