GROM - Il Gelato come una volta In Torino

I feel compelled to say this, hoping someone can do something about it: this afternoon around 5pm my family and I came to get an ice cream from Grom (also our favorite ice cream shop). Inside there were 1 girl and 1 boy serving customers, suddenly a lot more people arrived and a queue formed to enter. When the girl saw all those people arriving I heard her say to the boy "I'm going on break" leaving him alone to serve more than 20 people. I'm writing all this because I felt really sorry for the boy, luckily another girl then arrived to help him and no one heard anything about the girl who went for a break, maybe the breaks at Grom last 1 hour? I can't know this. But in any case such a thing is not done. He is not respectful towards his colleagues, an ice cream shop like Grom should carefully consider who to hire. Sorry for the outburst but I felt obligated. Greetings

Hot chocolate as good as ice cream, but upon entering there was a very strong smell, I couldn't tell if it was a cleaning product or a dirty flake with which the floor was washed.

Great gelato! But I gotta say, the whipped cream was divine! It was so thick and creamy!! It was worth it even in the winter weather. My colleagues returned several times.

Best as usual ! Edit after response from the owner: Guys, you are the best really. Not much words are needed, but we always have cup of GROM whenever we travel across Italy (and not only!). We appreciate the ice cream is natural, but also authentic as taste and ingredients. Service is also great, every time. Specifically in Turin, the lady was super kind, gave us to try 1-2 other flavours. We bought also some small chocolates (at the cash machine) and she gave us some others as compliment - all great by the way! So the 5 star is definitely covering the great and polite service we experienced! A presto!
