Exceptional environment, I was with my family and we ate veal steak on the bone which was uniquely delicious, it truly delighted our palate, very kind owner and courteous, polite and professional staff, highly recommended when you are in Cariati don't miss out the flavors of Masseria Forciniti, let's see if you can return before leaving.......

We have been holidaying in this area for years, we have always known about this property but we had never been there! Well, surprise of surprises, encouraged by a flyer received on the beach, we decided to go to dinner and, despite some negative feedback, I noticed something completely different. This is a rustic environment, where the tables are made of plastic but everything remains pleasant but spartan. The menu is unique, on two pages, dishes and drinks, there is no dessert, and the quality is excellent. The appetizer is rich and varied, ranging from sweet Calabrian salami to soppressata, from grilled aubergines to those in oil, to a fragrant and very sweet capocollo, and other delicacies. The grill contains all the flavours, that of the veal, the sausage and the pork, in fact I am not a lover of ribs but I must say that the goodness, the softness and the flavor of the one I ate literally surprised me. I add a plate of artisanal fried potatoes, a beer and half a liter of local red wine, Cirò from the Iuzzolini company, which I highly recommend together with the rosé and in the end we paid €44.50!!! Tell me it's not good... actually excellent and worth coming back to taste the Florentine cut steak from the Podolica meat they raise. Well done, but you haven't tasted the cheeses yet, so come on over.
