For a cappuccino it was good. A little expensive.

We visited this little seafood restaurant in the heart of the Ballarò market, and it was a truly unique experience! The place is small and very cheerful, with a lively and engaging atmosphere. The staff is truly amazing, incredibly friendly, and always smiling: they make you feel at home. We only tried the arancini with meat, which was simply exceptional, and the fried fish, crispy, tasty, and well-prepared. We didn't try the rest of the menu, but if the quality is the same, it's definitely worth returning. One slight downside: the place isn't exactly spotless, but honestly, the friendly staff and the informal atmosphere make up for it. A tip: install ventilation in the bathroom! Since it's next to the kitchen, stepping in is like a sauna: incredibly hot! Ultimately, an authentic, genuine place with a local flavor. Not perfect, but certainly memorable.

We went to this place inside the Ballarò market, which at first glance seems to be family-run. It must be said right away that you shouldn't expect a particularly clean place: it is located in the heart of the market and has a very rustic style, in line with the surrounding environment. That said, I don't take away points for cleanliness, because the atmosphere is part of the experience. Speaking of food, we ordered several dishes. The arancini, both with butter and with sardines, were both very good, although I definitely preferred the one with butter, more balanced in taste. Moving on to fish, unfortunately it was a disappointment: the swordfish was too dry, badly cooked, and the grilled vegetables were excessively greasy, with some vegetables completely tasteless. The octopus salad seemed to be made with fresh octopus, but it had no flavor and was also a bit tough. The waiters, on the other hand, were very kind, helpful and polite. The service was fast and the bill was more than fair, in line with a market meal: you spend little. In short: I would have preferred to try more dishes like the arancini, which really surprised us, while unfortunately the quality of the fish did not convince us.

Seems like Im going on a limb here giving 5* to this restaurant, but we honestly can’t complain about anything. The small mixed seafood platter we ordered was super generously served, and the rest of the menu is also decently priced. Upon asking for the big platter, our waiter even advised to go for the small one, as it would be enough for the both of us. He was right, and we cherished the honesty. There is a very jolly vibe all around, and you can tell the staff really enjoy working there. Definitely recommend this place for both food and service.

Family-run business located in the center of the Ballaró market. Typical place with very kind and welcoming staff, they entertained us with music, dance and lots of joy!!!! Abundant food and average quality-price ratio. Beware that they do not accept ATM cards

The street food is really good, the atmosphere is interesting. You have to come to places like this without any expectations, it was delicious in the end. A good place to get to know Sicilian street food.

We loved this place. Great energy, good food and ok service. There’s lots of choice in the market and we thought this better than most.
