Excellent lunch with fresh seafood and vegetables. We had a lot of different plates wanted to taste everything, the portions were huge and food was great

The food is mediocre, swordfish very dry, for the mixed fried fish is mainly just small fish under the prawns which isnt particularly tasty. Octopus was not great Sardines ball not good at all. Also there was an issue with billing, so please be aware and check your bill.

This place gave me a bit of a cognitive dilemma. While walking through the Ballarò market we saw beautiful fresh fish displayed on ice and immediately knew we wanted to eat there. Everything looked incredibly fresh and tempting, so we sat down and ordered. Only after ordering did we check the reviews online and were honestly shocked. They were surprisingly poor. At that moment I started wondering what we had just gotten ourselves into. In the end, it turned out to be completely the opposite of what the reviews suggested. The food was excellent. The fish was perfectly cooked, the oysters were very fresh, and everything tasted great. The service was also very kind and straightforward. Prices were explained clearly before ordering, so there were no surprises at all. I genuinely don’t understand the negative reputation this place has. In my opinion the food was delicious and the atmosphere pleasant. Of course, maybe we were simply lucky that day, but I’m glad we stopped there. It’s a bit sad to see such low ratings for a place that served us such a good meal. In any case, thank you to the friendly staff for a great experience.

Restaurant located in the heart of the Ballarò market Friendly staff and good fish The only downside is that they tell you there's no cover charge, but then you pay for service. In this case, I think it's just a matter of transparency and honesty, but otherwise the experience was positive, and I'd recommend this place.

We were browsing the market with the intention of eating there, and even though we were a bit hustled, we had a good time there. The food was good and sufficient, there were 6 of us and we ate for €14 each without dessert but with a drink... and there was a great atmosphere! No problem with the waitress, nor at the checkout, even if no one spoke Italian at our table...
