It is a unique experience, immersed in the lifeblood of the historic Ballarò market. Very fresh fish and honest prices. Highly recommended.

I don't understand the reviews. We were served very quickly, rustic but generous cuisine (see video). The dish displayed only cost 30 euros (impossible to finish for 3 hungry people). Simple dishes and great value for money. The fish and seafood are very fresh! Despite the folklore which may shock some, I recommend the place for its atypicality.

It is halfway between the many stalls selling street food at the Ballarò market and a traditional trattoria, it's up to you how you enjoy the many Palermo specialties that are offered. We opted for a quick lunch both times we were in Palermo. I believe that if you want to eat well you need to choose typical local cuisine and not ask for dishes that do not belong to tradition. We have always eaten very well, from caponata to swordfish rolls and last but not least all the fried foods. It's a popular eatery worth trying. The environment is simple and often crowded but with a little patience you can have lunch at the tables, the staff is friendly and waiting times are minimal. To try.

I don't understand the bad reviews. Here we are in an open public marketplace with all the shouting, loudness and the usual and of course appreciated by everyone - including tourists. It's all just going around there and it's not a quiet atmosphere. But that's exactly what you want... Whatever some people feel... we had - Mega pasta with perfect fresh shrimps - Great pasta alla Greta Pasta al dente - perfect - everything simple style - but suitable and harmonious. Greta was constantly next to us and asked if everything was okay. Other service so-so - but what do you expect - So for a market meal even 5* - We would come back in a heartbeat!

We stopped in this place for a quick lunch in the heart of the Ballarò market. The display of prepared dishes is very inviting. We took seafood salad (lots of octopus), delicate flavour, fresh and good red prawns, warbler a little dry. The sandwich with spleen and arancina. All very plentiful and reasonably priced. At a certain point the waiters started arguing and we could hear the shouting all the way down the hall for about a quarter of an hour.... It was better to discuss in the kitchen so as not to overhear the customers.

13/07/2024: Great little spot in the heart of Cefalu main tourist street ( yes there may be other streets ) Busy spot but great to sit outside and see the passing parade and enjoy a lovely meal . Food was very good and fresh , my wife's dish f muscles was huge and perfect .my tuna salad fresh and tasty . Service was attentive and friendly . I'd recommend stopping here for lunch especially on a hot day .
06/03/2024: Wery good food, we was wery happy. You should eat here. They have wery good fried sea sardines, spagetti Pomodoro or vegetable soup.
