Grazie Assai In Firenze

I was recommended this restaurant by the owner of my guest house. It was close by and easy to find. I walked in around 7:30pm on a Wednesday and was seated right away without a reservation. The atmosphere inside was welcoming and cozy. The staff was very kind and made an effort to help me order since I don’t speak Italian well. It was a comfortable and safe place to have a meal as a solo traveler. All of the food was really good and priced well. I had a pizza, water and a glass of wine, and a dessert for 28euros. Their menu was vast and I liked that they had choices for all courses.

This is the place to go when you want to savor the authentic taste of Calabria. As true Calabrians, we felt right at home, both with the food and the hospitality of the owner and waiters. Superb pizza, light dough, and toppings in just the right quantities, yet explosive in flavor, all made with excellent ingredients. We can't wait to return!!!

A local feel with very pleasant service. Homey and local atmosphere. Decent prices. For your non pretentious meals. Lunch menu seems very affordable, but not tried. Many Calabrian dishes.

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on two occasions: for our first and for our last meal in Bologna. On both visits they made us feel at home. The warm, familiar atmosphere here makes you want to come back every day. The food was delicious both times, all homemade and of excellent quality. Plus, the prices are totally reasonable for the quality they offer. You can see the love and dedication in each dish. It's a shame that we live in Barcelona, ​​because if we were closer, we would definitely come every week. A thousand thanks to all the staff for their kindness and for making us live such a special experience! We hope to return soon! ❤️

I had a fabulous pizza. It was prepared in Napolitan style, therefore it was soft and not thin. The beer they serve is very good. Finally, as sweet I had a very good "tartufo di Pizzo Calabro", an ice-cream truffle, with chocolate cream inside 😋 The price was very good. Maybe the service was a bit slow, but I didn't was in a hurry. Next time, I want to go back to try their pasta.

The spicy Calabria didn't arrive, maybe we ordered it wrong. Good parmigiana flan, fried caciocavallo, suckling pig with orange. Nothing special about the platter and the house beer. Overly fried and dry rabbit. Service a little confusing. The environment seems old, and the plastic chili peppers cannot be seen. It was tried.

Pizza 4*: buona, ottima pasta, bella scelta pizze, bravo al pizzaiolo Pesce 2* : terribile, salato, pieno d'olio, bassa qualità Servizio 1* : portate sbagliate, in ritardo, 2 ore per mangiare Costo 3* : prezzi oggettivamente molto alti per la qualità servita Totale 3* SOLO per la presenza della pizza

Ha riaperto dopo un periodo di chiusura. Stessa bella acvcoglienza, stessa pizza buonissima e stessi prezzi moderati Vicino allo stadio ed al Mandela Forum torna benissimo per una cena pre partita o concerto.... Bravi davvero.... andateci numerosi
