Truly delicious restaurant, located in a really neat local winery, the food is excellent, I highly recommend it

The quality is truly top-notch. Superlative risottos. Very beautiful location. The only flaw is the wait time, which is always the case, but it's worth it.

The place is very nice, a tavern with exposed brick walls, but the food and service didn't live up to expectations (a porcini mushroom risotto - off the menu - almost no porcini mushrooms, while the sliced ​​beef was decent; the wait between courses was too long, considering there weren't many people sitting).

Upon entering the restaurant, a comfortable staircase leads downstairs to a beautiful dining room created from the restoration of a cellar, featuring exposed stone walls alternating with resin ones. The space is divided by a series of exposed brick arches, as is the vaulted ceiling, confirming the original character of the place. The beautiful, light-wood tables, large and comfortable, are arranged to allow guests a certain amount of privacy. The chairs are unique and intriguing, reminiscent of those found in old churches, complete with a storage space/missal on the back of the seat, but without the kneeler that was located at the base in the originals. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere encourages conviviality. We started with duck speck on fennel salad and asparagus millefeuille with bacon and Grana Padano fondue, both delicious and appetizing, presented in a simple yet tantalizing way. If I had to offer a suggestion, I'd suggest seasoning the fennel with a bold yet not overpowering oil, so as not to overpower the duck's exquisite flavor, such as a single-varietal Leccino variety. We then continued with a retro Italian dish: truly tender, fragrant, and flavorful lemon scallops, and curried chicken bites served with plain rice that melted in the mouth and were perfectly spiced. For dessert, we ordered tiramisu with red port and raspberries, a true feast for the palate, and a classic tarte tatin accompanied by a decidedly satisfying cocoa powder cream. The wine list deserves special mention, a veritable bible for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs who can indulge in browsing the endless selection, with a vast national scope and a few international references, including niche wines that demonstrate the owner's passion, professionalism, and commitment. Confirming this, at the end of the meal, he offered us a truly enveloping and sumptuous Vin Santo, a fitting conclusion to this food and wine experience. The spirits selection is also beautiful and interesting, with rum, gin, cognac, and much more, all of which are truly unique. Last but not least, the restaurant also has an open courtyard with wheelchair access. It's worth coming, and I can assure you it was our first time, but we'll be back for many more. Congratulations again for both the hospitality and the food and wine. Milanese risotto with exceptional ossobuco!

We returned yesterday evening (after years) to celebrate our wedding anniversary... what can I say... suitable location... to celebrate your anniversaries... and why not... a convivial dinner with friends... the friendly waiter... attentive to everything and very professional... also the owner... truly professional with his kindness... and his know-how... the menu excellent quality price... everything very well taken care of.. from the small details.. well done we will definitely return!

Era un po’ che non tornavo in questo posto e devo dire che l’ho particolarmente rivalutato. Ottimi i risotti, spettacolari le carni fuori menù, in particolare quella di Pata Negra di cui ne avevo sempre apprezzato le qualità per il prosciutto ma mai mangiata come carne ed invece… sorpresa delle sorprese, ho provato qualcosa di altamente squisito. Ottima ed eccellente carta dei vini, prezzo corretto per ciò che abbiamo mangiato e servizio attento e cortese. Diciamo che da adesso in poi torneremo più spesso.
