Thanks to its presence on many lists of recommendations, despite the very central area (we are between Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori) and in the midst of many tourist-catching places with a lot of bouncers, our post-marathon lunch in Rome takes place in this solid and absolutely recommendable restaurant.
With a tried and tested system for managing reservations (from memory the table is reserved for two hours: there is no rush, but it is clear that the place relies on a constant influx and turnover), the room is relatively quiet and spacious.
The tasting menu is surprising for the quality of the raw materials and for the absolutely honest price (34 euros). Trio of appetizers, a first and a second course to choose from three cornerstones of Lazio cuisine and the dessert of the day. Fair portions, but excellent balance of flavors (in my scorecard tops for carbonara and beef cheek). There is also the option of eating à la carte, perhaps with slightly more generous portions.
Both the bread basket and the wine list are good.
The demonstration that you can make excellent catering even for tourists, without declines and at a fair price.
Congratulations

Excellent Roman trattoria in the heart of Campo de Fiori, excellent food with great attention to raw materials. Prices are a bit high, justified by the location

We tried all three Roman classics: Amatriciana, Cacio e Pepe & carbonara. Paired with a nice Lambrusco! Great qp ratio!

We loved our dinner at Grappolo d’Oro! The best meal during our visit to Rome. A real delight. Very nice assortment of starters, particularly the eggplant and meat polpette which I recommend. The pastas all have very well cooked sauces. We tasted the ravioli of the day which were sugo di coda ravioli, absolutely divine, and perfect amatriciana pasta. Then we shared a day special of Guancia, beef cheek that melted in your mouth with an incredibly delicious sauce. Everything is perfectly cooked and simmered. Real cuisine that we enjoy and affordable too! Good tiramisu. Nice service, however the air conditioning on full blast in February was not necessary, I had to keep my coat on for dinner. Despite this, I would go back there every day if I could!

Excellent Roman tasting menu, friendly, kind and helpful service and menu with excellently executed and refined Roman dishes. I would have appreciated a side dish based on artichokes given the season, but it would have been 6 stars. Perfect digestion. Super recommended and I will return on my next Roman trip!

We ate at this place one day during our stay in Rome, and it is definitely in my top 3 of places we tried. We ordered spaghetti alla carbonara, which is undoubtedly one of the best carbonaras I have ever tasted and some fettuccine with sugo di involtini, very juicy and tasty too. For dessert we ordered a maritozzo, a typical sweet from here, which was delicious and warm on top. The service was fast and very friendly. Unbeatable experience and with an incredible quality-price ratio as well.
