Grappolo d'oro In Roma

We have visited twice diring our stay in Rome. Booked table in advance is suggested. There are two hawls one is bigger, brighter and better decorared in my opinion. Tasty food with good igredients, fast service, kind personnel, reasonable prices, good selection of wine.

I had booked well in advance, announced my birthday, and specified my preferred table. No one knew about Davin, but everything was free anyway. The set menu could only be ordered if everyone at the table ordered it. Since my partner eats like a bird, I wanted the whole menu, and she only wanted carbonara. That wasn't possible. I then had to order dishes from the à la carte menu, which meant they weren't set menu portions anymore, but regular portions, and I had to leave food everywhere. Both the Kazakh and Chinese waiters spoke good Italian and gave a local touch. The Kazakh waiter was really good, also in terms of service. I would recommend this restaurant to any American tourist to get what they think is "Rome," but I won't be going back. The braised ox cheeks were fantastic.

The lamb is quite good. But besides that, everything is too salty…

Normal We went for lunch; our expectations were perhaps too high given its Michelin-starred status. In our experience, there weren't any major differences compared to other restaurants. The food was average, and the service was average.

The pasta here is sooooo delicious as is the rest of the food we had - meatballs, slow cooked lamb and a salad. It’s a very busy restaurant so book early, bookings open 30 days out. We ended up going for lunch as we couldn’t get a dinner slot during our time in Rome.

Everything was truly classy: excellent food, top-notch table service, and a clean, welcoming place. We'll gladly return!

Great service and location ! Good was good

I went there for dinner. Super recommended place but wasn’t impressed by the food. Carbonara not my favorite there, amatriciana was really good, puntarelle good, beef cheek was good. Eggplant polpette were good and we took green sauce beef was delicious! Service was really really good. Very nice guys working there super welcoming.

It’s “ok”. Not bad, far from amazing. Just ok. The hype is hard to justify. The food was decent but unmemorable, and nothing stood out enough to warrant the expectations. Regardless of reputation, it’s not good enough to come back to, especially in a city like Rome, where there are countless better options.
