We saw this place on the Michelin Guide and came to try it out. We booked a reservation pretty far in advance, which I recommend. The service and atmosphere were wonderful! For the food, we chose the option for a tasting menu, where each person can choose from a few items on a set menu for €36 each. While the appetizers were incredible, the rest of the courses were just alright. Maybe a hot take but I felt that the food wasn’t too memorable. Even so, our waiter was amazing and we had a great time!

Lovely meal in a beautiful space. Started off with the panzanella and the zucchini parmesan. The panzanella had great flavor but a strange texture. The zucchini was divine - cooked well and very well balanced. Then, we enjoyed the carbonara and the amatriciana. You cannot go wrong with either! They were packed with flavor and the guanciale was to die for. Finally, we had the panna cotta with strawberry compote. A lovely end to a great meal! The restaurant itself is beautiful and lovely but not too loud. Overall, recommend!

A simple and tasty Roman dinner. Despite its highly touristy location, Hosteria Grappolo d'Oro doesn't disappoint those seeking a genuine, traditional meal: quality ingredients and generous portions, carefully prepared, and truly delicious. The bread basket is a little more expensive than average, but it's from Roscioli—worth it!

I did not see the reason for a Michelin bib review. The menu clearly is opting to satisfy tourists who want to try the roman must list of cacio e pepe, carbonarra, etc etc. I found the atmposphere just alright. in a touristy area, and all the other tables were tourists. informal and not cozy atmosphere. The meal was fine. nothing wrong. just ok

I was excited to try this place after reading about it in the michelin guide. It's a bib gourmand restaurant and requires a reservation. I was able to snag a time and we were the first ones in when they opened. Half an hour later, the entire restaurant was full.
It was tempting to get the tasting menu but instead we ordered the Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe (Black pepper and pecorino cheese), lamb and beef along with a glass of wine.
The tonnarelli is the most delicious and freshest pasta I have had. The pasta had a nice bite to it along with some cheeses and peppers. The bread and foccaccia were also fresh and the exterior of the bread wasn't painful to eat like it has been for most places in Italy.
The meal started off strong, however, it quickly changed.
The wine's flavor was too intense. It felt like we were being punched with several grapes with each sip. It didn't go too well with any of the dishes. The lamb came with two pieces, one that was way too dry and the other was too fatty. The beef tasted quite below average.
Overall, it was pretty disappointing.

Great value for money. 3 out of 4 courses were great, one not so much.

An osteria in the center of Rome; the food is very good and the service is excellent; the prices are fair for the area. My only complaint is that the €20 mixed antipasto was a bit on the cheap (everything was delicious, but a bit cheap).
Otherwise, the food and drink are good, and the area is just steps from the center. They even offer two complimentary amari. Highly recommended.

Last and possibly best restaurant on our classic pasta exploration of Rome. As always, we got the 3 classics plus the special- all were amazing. Though we were stuffed, both the amatriciana and cacio e pepe were demolished, but the pasta that disappeared fastest was the special of ravioli with oxtail ragu- omg flavor with melt-in-your- mouth oxtail and tender ravioli. Starters were very tasty- we tried the panzanella and initially were unsure of the presentation, but after our first bites became total converts. Fava beans were good but perhaps over cooked. Burrata was heaven. Service was friendly and fast. Would definitely revisit.
