Grano Vivo Pizzeria In Pontedera

I've been going to this lovely pizzeria for years, and it's always a wonderful place where the food is excellent. The pizza is divine.

Lots of hype and marketing, but the pizza is good, nothing exceptional, and the prices are very high. The place is nice, and the service is at times super attentive, but there are many flaws that clash with some aspects of the restaurant, which are almost luxury. The bathrooms are falling apart. Some waiters are attentive and polite, others are very rude and impolite. The pizzas are highly romanticized and priced like a high-end gourmet pizzeria. However, the pizza is simply good, nothing more... The two pizzas in the photo had very little tomato sauce and were very dry. For a buffalo mozzarella and a red pizza without mozzarella, it's a bit disappointing... High prices for pizzas, drinks, the service charge of €3 per person, and alternative doughs that add up to €4 per pizza. In short, a bit of a disappointment, especially given all the marketing and hype. It seems like an exaggeration, aimed at selling a good product as if it were something special. Positive note: The dough is normal and the baking process is very good, and you can taste the quality.

Davvero un bel locale, con pizze gourmet ma anche tradizionali, con prezzi che variano di conseguenza. Servizio molto attento. Siamo stati molto bene.

Sono stato in questa pizzera di martedì sera. Locale ampio,ben arredato e dai forti colori accesi (se devo fare una critica forse fin troppo accesi). Ho ordinato una pizza bufala con salame calabrese e l'ho trovata eccellente,sia nella qualità della materia prima sia nell'impasto, che non è risultato affatto pesante, oltre all'ottima cottura. Ho poi mangiato il tiramisù classico come dessert e anche quello mi è piaciuto molto:saporito ma bilanciato e si vedeva che era fatto artigianalmente. Menzione d'onore poi per il titolare:molto disponibile,anche a chiacchierare con i vari clienti,e soprattutto si vede la sua forte passione per il proprio mestiere; inoltre si nota l'innovazione all'interno dei suoi piatti,ma è una innovazione concreta e non una semplice bozza,quindi ottimo lavoro! Conto onesto, tornerò sicuramente!!
