Grande Albergo Rocciamelone In Usseglio

This is the second time we've written about this place, and we do so with good reason. After discovering it during an informal lunch with friends, we decided to spend a few days here. It's a three-star hotel, but for us it deserves five. The atmosphere, steeped in history, elegance, and refinement, is still present under the current management. A family that has preserved and continued a style of manners, service, and food quality that is rare today. Special recognition goes to the professionalism and kindness of the waiters and waitresses. We had dinner in the unique 100-year-old dining room: very stylish, transported back a century. Very friendly staff, good food, and very fair prices.

I've eaten there a couple of times for lunch over a couple of years, the last one recently. The dining room is worth a visit (the building dates back to the 1920s), and the menu is equally as good, as is the quality/price ratio. The wait staff is very welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a try.

Only used the restaurant. Great place and great food. A special atmosphere of times gone by. I recommend the cheeses accompanied by sauces. Good wine also in bulk.
