Mattress was very hard. AC was inoperable. WiFi was very poor. Reception was very professional and the building itself is steeped in heritage. It’s a true hit or miss.

I organized my wedding reception at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa, I couldn't have made a better choice! Superlative food, impeccable organisation, discreet and professional staff and last but not least the charm of the structure. I highly recommend it both for organizing a reception/event and for staying!

Beautiful hotel in downtown Palermo. Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Buffet breakfast has typical Italian cold meats and cheeses, pastries etc. Only problem the few hot items were tepid at best.

Impractical bathtub. After complaining twice they sent us to 125 (disabled) the cistern does not work and the shower floods. After finishing the shower we had to collect the water with towels to avoid leaks. The staff made no effort to understand Spanish. As for location a 10, the breakfast, dining room and central patio were very good. Good cleanliness, but we would not return to that hotel.

This is a very good hotel right in the heart of Palermo’s historic district! Plenty of places to walk around and discover or just stay at the hotel for dinner and a drink.

14/08/2024: Super friendly staff and respectful of our requests, excellent and typical dishes
12/08/2024: A place found by chance in the historic center of Palermo, but a little away from the main streets, due to the possibility of eating some gluten-free dishes. I must say that it met expectations: I ate a delicious mussel soup (served with gluten-free bread on the side) and spaghetti with sea urchins, with good seasoning but unfortunately a little overcooked. Honest bill and generous portions, fairly fast service, air conditioning throughout.

18/08/2024: Many thanks to Margherita and all the staff (Claudio and all the other boys and girls) for their kindness, professionalism and availability. Villa Mirto! Place of the heart, absolutely recommended from every point of view. It was wonderful to celebrate these 30 years in one of the symbolic places of my childhood. Delicious and super abundant food, attention to food intolerances, low prices, quiet place surrounded by nature, games and entertainment for children and adults (rides, swimming pool, poolside bar). Thank you, we will be back!!!!
