Old 4-star hotel, renovated, centrally located. The internal courtyard is beautiful, though it's a shame about the retractable awnings that protect the courtyard from the rain, but they significantly detract from the courtyard's charm, given the fixed structure for the retractable awning. Very spacious rooms (hot tub in the deluxe room), efficient service, and a buffet breakfast with a good variety of food and hot coffee served at the table.

I stayed at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa exclusively for the wellness program, and the experience was simply wonderful. A moment of pure relaxation: well-appointed spaces, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a complete break from routine. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, making you feel truly pampered every step of the way. Making everything even more evocative was the music by Ludovico Einaudi: delicate and moving, it accompanied every moment, making the experience even more relaxing. An elegant and intimate place where time seems to slow down. Highly recommended for those seeking a truly relaxing break.

Please excuse the late review. We (2 adults and 1 child (4)) spent our holiday from November 5th to 19th, 2025 at the Hotel Piazza Borsa and found it excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. All the sights are easily accessible on foot. Breakfast was okay, but the fruit juices were world-class. My wife and son ate breakfast there every day. I preferred to buy something for breakfast on Via Vittorio Emanuele (e.g., panelle e crocche). Also, if you want to have a drink in the evening, the Vucciria is a good option. You can strike up a conversation with the locals quite easily. However, basic Italian is necessary, as English isn't widely spoken. From my perspective, the hotel was great. Only a few minor repairs would be nice. We will most likely return in early spring 2027. P.S.: A small tip for the cleaning staff is appreciated. The ladies are doing a great job. That's all. Spacious rooms but too noisy: relay air conditioning and various devices make it difficult to sleep. There's a musty smell near the bathroom. The water is barely warm. I immediately reported this, but nothing changed during my three-day stay. Breakfast was varied and well-stocked. For the location, a good compromise.

We checked in on December 31st and stayed until March 3rd, 2026. We arrived after driving around in circles for ages. We had requested a double bed in our room, but they didn't provide it. The air conditioning was unbearably noisy, and I complained more than twice. Yes, it would rise briefly, then immediately return to normal. The water was practically freezing cold in December, and I caught a terrible cold. I complained countless times, but it felt like they were laughing at us. They kept saying things like, "The boiler will be fixed in two hours," or "Tomorrow morning," without offering any solution. The bathtub was incredibly uncomfortable, the towels were old, the bathrobe was old, and the room had so much light from the street that it was impossible to sleep. The cloister was beautiful, though; we had a drink there, which was great. The Christmas dinner was decent at €160 per person. I wouldn't return because, frankly, they didn't let us rest and didn't resolve any of the issues that prevented us from enjoying our stay. Rooms 116 and 110... Thanks.

A hotel in Palermo's historic center, meticulously furnished and offering impeccable service in the rooms and common areas. Elegant and welcoming, this historic manor house is unique. A generous and varied breakfast of savory and sweet dishes awaits: the deconstructed cannoli is a special treat. A good lunch menu featuring local specialties.

An absolutely flawless stay! The hotel is meticulously maintained down to the last detail: spotless rooms, friendly and professional staff, and excellent service. My every expectation was fully met… or almost. The only slight disappointment was not finding the seven-ply cake I had requested: a small detail, sure, but one I really cared about. Despite this, the overall experience was truly excellent, and I would definitely recommend this hotel. C.C.
