The Motoclub hosted an exceptional lunch here. The location truly speaks for itself. Sumptuous rooms, with crystal chandeliers and magnificent statues. A gem in beautiful Stresa.

I've been coming to this hotel for years and always have a wonderful experience. I admit I'm a fan of luxury hotels with impeccable service, and this place confirms that. A room with a lake view is the best choice: waking up to the sound of birds singing is a sign that spring has arrived.
The breakfast is rich and high-quality, with a wide selection of cured meats, smoked fish, and an excellent gluten-free selection. The restaurant is splendid, welcoming guests for lunch and dinner with consistently high standards.
The spa is a highlight, featuring a heated saltwater pool, various hydromassage stations, and a beautiful wet area. I also really appreciated the quality of the massages and treatments. A guarantee!

A very charming historic grand hotel dating back to 1863, with plenty of atmosphere and classic style. We had a standard room with a garden view and balcony. The room itself is rather small, but very quiet, the mattress is good, and we slept wonderfully. The bathroom is clean and has two sinks; however, the shower in the bathtub is somewhat uncomfortable because the shower head is mounted very low, requiring you to step over the tub. The air conditioning controls in the room are also a bit unclear. The spa area was a pleasant surprise, as it is very modern in design, in contrast to the hotel's historic style. There is a lovely indoor pool (around 32 degrees Celsius) with a connecting channel to the outside, as well as good, spacious showers in the spa area. The fitness room is also spacious, with high ceilings, modern equipment, and is very clean. Breakfast is served in a very attractive dining room, the service is friendly and attentive, and the selection is good, if not exceptional. The espresso is rather weak by Italian standards, and fried eggs cost an extra 10 euros. The bar in the lobby is very stylish, but it closes at midnight, which seems a bit early for a five-star hotel. The Wi-Fi in the room was relatively slow, with about 5 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload. The rear entrance is convenient, allowing you to drive right up to the hotel, and there's also an underground parking garage. We paid around €200 per night during the off-season in March, which, considering the hotel and especially the excellent spa area, is outstanding value for money. Overall, it's a very atmospheric grand hotel with a lot of character, minor shortcomings in the room details, but a superb spa and very comfortable sleeping arrangements.

It's a very old but lovely hotel. The spa is fantastic, and the service is very friendly.
We had breakfast here five days in a row, and even though the menu was the same, we loved it. Everything was delicious.
The only downside, and unfortunately, it weighed heavily on you, was the arrival. NO ONE greeted you; they looked at you with a bit of disdain, and it seemed the receptionist had been working there for years and had lost his zest for life. You could tell he didn't like receiving guests; he made faces and was unfriendly.
The cleaning ladies were very kind and professional. They truly made you feel like you were on vacation because they were so attentive. The breakfast staff were simply amazing. They learned my favorite drink and served it to me without me even asking. ❤️

Rococo-style hotel with gilding everywhere and attentive, friendly service. Unfortunately, our room was very poorly soundproofed, and we could hear all our neighbors' ablutions! Annoying for a hotel of this caliber.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude to the hotel's fantastic waiter of Mexican origins, whose name I unfortunately don't remember, but who left an indelible mark on my experience today with my friends.
When we entered the hotel, we didn't intend to order anything beyond a coffee; we wanted to admire the beauty of the place. But he, with his kindness and helpfulness, made us feel like a "M" and took the time to explain the hotel and make our visit even more special.
The hotel itself is spectacular, but the waiter's service was the icing on the cake. His warm welcome and professionalism made our experience truly unique. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome!
