Everything would have been perfect except that, since it was our 33rd anniversary and we had asked for something special in advance, nothing was offered to us! If not to dine at full price in their restaurant in the evening. Even a simple room upgrade, a fruit basket in the room upon arrival or a bottle would have been enough. Not even a micro cake at the end of the meal. And let it be understood that I would have paid for the service! I repeat, AT MY SPECIFIC REQUEST! It's a shame that even in the face of my complaints, this enormous disappointment was not remedied. 5 STAR LUXURY HOTEL ✔️

It's like entering a dream. A jewel with attention to every detail. The staff were attentive and kind, without being intrusive. The spa is a quiet corner, a modern and organized bubble of peace. Swimming pool hamam sensory shower and attentive assistance. Superb breakfast. It’s like staying in a museum! Absolutely stunning building and interior, but tech & food could use some updates/upgrades for a five star hotel…spa was amazing though!

The most beautiful hotel in Stresa. It's a dream, especially with good weather and the possibility of using the outdoor pool. The historical environments are crazy, it feels like living in another era. There is antiquity but no decadence. Every corner is waiting to be discovered. It's wonderful to wander the corridors dotted with paintings, sculptures and decorations. A pearl on Lake Maggiore. A brand new state-of-the-art spa equipped with all comforts is added. The restaurant which then becomes the breakfast room is amazing.

If you are looking for a truly romantic place that you will remember for the rest of your life, then this is it. A hotel with such a rich history and atmosphere made us fall in love at first sight. Stunning location overlooking the lake, cozy, comfortable rooms, comfortable bed, high quality linen, very nice staff, breakfasts overlooking the lake in luxurious decoration, all this is like in a movie. But the most important thing we were struck by the price, for such a hotel, place and atmosphere it was really honest, not expensive, not cheap, but just a fair price. If you are traveling by car, the hotel has its own parking lot. There are piers nearby from which you can travel between the islands by boat. We will definitely come back here!
