1862 Ristorante della Posta In Sondrio

We loved our time at Grand Hotel Della Posta. We had 3 nights and added a 4th night. The location was amazing, the staff was efficient and courteous and the amenities were lovely. If we return to the area we will stay there again.

We spent a night with family and dog in tow. I'll start by offering my compliments because not all facilities of this level accept dogs. Private parking (for a fee) with free electric car charging available. Beautiful and very spacious superior room overlooking Piazza Garibaldi and a glimpse of the Alps. We had dinner in the hotel and needless to say that we were super satisfied; they also cooked pasta for our little girl. Very rich and varied breakfast, there is something for all tastes. I would say that 5 stars are too few. Thanks to all the staff!!

It is a hotel in the center of Sondrio in the main square. It's the best here in Sondrio. It is well looked after and the rooms are nice. I've tried several. The breakfasts are varied and plentiful. The staff is very helpful. It remains my first choice when I'm in the area.

I can't comment much on the rooms but on the Spa service which my wife and I have used several times, truly excellent and above all the courtesy and service received from the girls at the reception, all of them included. In this last experience of mine I mention one name in particular: Debora who was very exquisite and correct towards us, however good at all, excellent service!

The hotel is beautiful and the service is excellent, something to keep in mind for future trips

We stopped in Sondrio before reaching the ski resort. Well-kept environment, attentive and friendly staff. Very central location. Possibility of private parking at a cost of €15 per night. There would have been the possibility of charging electric cars but unfortunately the two columns did not work. Varied and abundant breakfast included with dedicated staff. Absolutely recommended. We will return.

The hotel is very nice, very clean and they have preserved old details very well. Located very close to the center and shopping. Self service breakfast is simple, but good.

We have stayed 6 nights in the hotel while skiing in Valmalenco with my family and used it as our base. It was a good choice as the hotel was amazing and the slopes are only 20 min drive away, while in the evening we had all the options that Sondrio could offer with lots of restaurants, walks etc, especially as the hotel location is so central. Rooms were great, with very comfortable beds, large clean bathrooms. All the staff are very friendly and helpful from the receptionists to the cleaning lady to the waiters looking after us at breakfast. The breakfast needs to be mentioned separately as it was of high quality and great selection, we were looking forward to it every morning. Parking is available on the hotel's courtyard for Eur 15, however there is an underground covered car park literally next to the hotel for Eur 10 that we have used for each night. All in all a fantastic place to stay with amazing staff, we will be coming back again!

Fantastico! Menu interessante e piatti sublimi, la cucina ricercata, con accostamenti che passano dal classico al moderno. Il personale stato professionale e cortese. La sala in cui abbiamo cenato era piccola ma accogliente ed elegante, come tutto del resto. È stata una piacevole scoperta e di sicuro torneremo.
