We stayed at this hotel the first week of August and had a great time. The entertainment was perfect for small children, always attentive and available. The hotel is comfortable and directly overlooks the sea, making it convenient for those with small children. It's also located on the seafront, so if you wanted to go out in the evening, you could walk there; there were always rides and stalls. As for the downsides, they were definitely the rooms—at least ours—which were very old and therefore unattractive, even though they were very spacious and had a sea view. And the quality of the food, too. Some days we had a great time, others less so. There's a variety of food, but it's always the same (e.g., always roast, even if cooked differently each time). The idea of a typical Abruzzo and international evening was nice. Overall, we had a great time. 😁

We booked a basic double room for four nights, which doesn't justify all the enormous flaws we found. The furniture is as vintage as it gets, and I have a hard time recognizing how old it is. One of the two mattresses pushed together to make a double was wobbly. The most intolerable things were the drawers that were hard to open and the control panels (electrically connected to the walls by ridiculous wires) above the bedside tables that controlled some lights. Furthermore, there were no outlets near the bedside tables. The only one was behind the TV, and there was a power strip where the TV, refrigerator, and phone chargers and hair dryers were plugged in (since the one in the bathroom was unworthy). I believe these are intolerable flaws in a (definitely not cheap) four-star hotel built in 2025. All of this is in stark contrast to the overall hotel, which features a modern and elegant lobby as well as the hallways on each floor, and certainly also to the various renovated superior rooms. I don't understand why the management has neglected the basic rooms, which significantly lowers the image of this hotel. Another flaw I found is the excessive slowness of the only two elevators at certain times. A hotel of this size needs at least twice as many elevators. The breakfast isn't worthy of a 4-star hotel, not so much in quantity but in quality, as everything tasted industrial (not even from famous brands) and nothing artisanal.
The parking lot is small and expensive for the size of the hotel, but fortunately there was free street parking.
Among the positives, I'd like to mention the kindness of the receptionists, the dining room staff, and the room cleaning staff. Despite the objective problems listed, the basic room was very large, with a beautiful sea view and working air conditioning. What we enjoyed most was the excellent quality and variety of the cuisine at dinner (we had half board). We really appreciated the buffet style. My heartfelt compliments to the chef and the pizza chef, as the pizza was also very good. We really appreciated this hotel's location, just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful seafront, in Montesilvano's so-called "grand hotel" area. It's a lively neighborhood, also home to a lovely amusement park. Ultimately, it's a lovely village-style hotel, suitable only for families with children (given the entertainment available all day, or almost all day). Renovations are in urgent need, even the rooms, which lack this charm and are at least 30 years old.

I stayed for 14 nights. The stay far exceeded my expectations. It's a comfortable and familiar atmosphere.
The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the room service staff is very kind and available to meet any needs.
The dining room staff, under the watchful eye of Adriana, is also very kind and helpful, as is Adriana herself.
The reception staff is also very attentive and helpful, except for one young man with wavy black hair and glasses (whose name I don't remember... Gianluigi?) who often goes out of his way, forgetting the courtesy of his colleagues.
The entertainment team is the strong point: friendly, down-to-earth, and welcoming people, expertly led by Angelo, engage you and encourage you to get involved. Thanks to the charming Titti and to Federico, who managed the difficult task of getting me to participate in the games.

Everything was fine if it weren't for the private parking fee of €8 and the parking space occupied by others. When you offer a paid service, you have to offer it, otherwise leave the parking space free.

Kind and helpful staff, good food, excellent location, I recommend it....... Too bad, at the end of the holiday I was very disappointed, private parking paid regularly, I arrive at midnight and I can't find the space.......... it's a disgrace I paid €8 per day.

Convenient location, well-maintained rooms. Wide selection of meals, both for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Truly one of the strong points.
Exceptional sea view room, 20 meters from the sea, private hotel, and pool below the hotel.
Everything was very comfortable.
Entertainment was present but not intrusive.
Stayed with family. Highly recommended.

A wonderful stay at Club Esse: top-notch hospitality, exceptional staff, and a dream Abruzzo evening!
Jul 2025
I'm here at Club Esse Mediterraneo in Montesilvano with my wife and 12-year-old daughter, and I'm having a truly special stay. The property is welcoming and perfect for relaxing, just steps from the sea without crossing a single road; the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is kind, professional, and always available.
Emma and Pierluigi at the front desk make you feel immediately at home with their friendliness and attentiveness. The pastry chef, Illaria, is a true artist: her desserts are incredible, every bite is a surprise.
Mr. Martino, with his professionalism at the tables, knows how to reassure guests.
Mrs. Adriana in the dining room is always present, attentive to every detail, with a rare elegance and kindness.
The manager, too, is a fantastic person who takes care of everything with passion; you can tell she truly cares about the well-being of her guests. Last night was Abruzzo evening, an authentic variety of flavors and traditions, an experience I'll cherish forever.
It's not just a vacation, it's a warm welcome.
Thank you all so much!!!
