Grand Dragon In Roma

I've known this restaurant for over 20 years, coming here with friends for authentic Chinese food. Today I came here specifically to see if, after 10 years, it was still the place I remembered. It is. Good, plentiful, traditional recipes with fewer concessions to Western cuisine. It's definitely worth a try. It's not all-you-can-eat, though, which you can tell by the quality of the food. The white rice is spectacular, which really shows the concept of quality ingredients.

My favorite Chinese restaurant! The crispy duck is superb! But all their other dishes never disappoint. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable experience at Grand Dragon Restaurant — not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the kindness and care we received were beyond words. During our meal, my husband suddenly felt unwell. We were incredibly fortunate that the owner, Eva, immediately rushed to help us with so much care and concern, and that a doctor dining nearby also stepped in to assist. Thanks to their quick and kind actions, everything turned out fine. We are so grateful for Eva’s support and the help from the doctor — we truly cannot thank them enough. Aside from this, we also had a wonderful meal — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to dine. We highly recommend Grand Dragon Restaurant not just for its amazing food, but also for the genuine kindness and hospitality that makes it truly special. Best Chinese food in Rome. Service was not too bad and the restaurant is typical Cantonese. Not fancy but clean.

Truly excellent Cantonese cuisine, fair prices, spartan restaurant, good choice of dishes and correct portions.
