Granchio Royal In Pescara

Excellent pizza, fast and precise service, courteous staff, beautiful location.

The food there was really great and arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, even though there were only two of us. We weren't given a menu either (although there is a QR code with the menu at the table, and others got one anyway). The service was very friendly and quick. Overall, it was a good stay, and we'll be back :)

The location can have a certain charm if you're lucky enough to be seated near the beach. In our case, since we were two, we were assigned a table outside facing the square's fountain, which was less charming. The place seems to be aiming for a chic atmosphere, but the details betray this intention: the paper placemats and napkins don't live up to the image proposed. We weren't able to order appetizers or main courses without further explanation, which left an unprofessional impression. The pizza was average, nothing memorable. The picanha was good, and the arrosticini were also appreciated, and they were good value. The service was rather cold; some waitresses seemed listless and unengaged. Ultimately, there are better options in the area.

A very nice place for dinner by the sea. Fast service on weekdays; on busy evenings, they can get busy, but the staff is very friendly. The traditional calzone is absolutely not to be missed! The arrosticini are delicious. Excellent price. Overall, recommended.

A lovely dinner in a very pretty place on the Pescara beach. The staff is very friendly and cheerful, although (the only flaw) a bit slow. The place's unique feature is that there are three menus: a "regular" one, a sushi menu, and a pizza menu. I ordered the sushi (delicious) and the spaghetti with mussels and cruschi peppers, both delicious and generously topped. The pizza my friend ordered looked excellent; I'll definitely order it next time. The bill was good (€42 for two).

Good pizza, fairly attentive service, nice atmosphere near the beach.

It's not the first time we dine at Granchio Royale, a place we like but last night with some flaws. First of all at the entrance the bodyguard who should have simply asked in which place we had booked instead of deducing it independently. Then the pizza, which was not excellent as other times but the rest of the food, including the Arrosticini, was excellent. Be careful I'm not saying that the pizza was not good but not excellent as other times. For the rest I can only say that the place is fantastic, top location, professional and always available staff, they served us immediately. Maybe they simply changed the dough or pizza maker. Always recommended
