If only we were in Trieste longer so we could sample more of the wine list. A wonderful selection of local and wider Italian wines. Perfect place for aperitivo and extremely good value.

11/02/2026: I had dinner with my wife; it was a special evening, and this is coming from someone who frequents restaurants very often. A historic, elegant and refined restaurant with extremely helpful, kind, and professional staff. Excellent value for money, with generous, high-quality dishes. A dinner here is worth the trip to Trieste.

Antica Trattoria Menarosti

08/02/2026: A historic restaurant, very unique, but also a bit anachronistic, like all of Trieste. The fish dishes are classic and truly excellent, not particularly sophisticated, but the price is, in my opinion, unjustifiably high, especially considering the standard service (€3.50 cover charge!) I would recommend it anyway.
15/01/2026: It's always a great experience. The classicism is fully rewarded. #Menarosti in #Trieste is an excellent #seafoodrestaurant!
