A wonderful experience and great food! The owner and his staff were so kind and sweet! Not only the food was excellent (the gelato was incredible as well), but the customer service was heart warming!

Ottima pasticceria. La ragazza che ci ha servito ci ha descritto nei dettagli ogni singolo dolce. Ogni pasticcino aveva un sapore diverso e gli ingredienti si distinguevano perfettamente. Provengo da una zona della Campania dove il livello della pasticceria è alto; con grande piacere lo riscontro anche al Gran Caffè Essential. Complimenti.

A very intimate place, it recalls the literal cafés of times gone by... you can study there, you can organize your work, it's an excellent bar to consume from a simple work break to an aperitif with friends, to a tet a tete with your partner.... It's an absolute must try!

27/04/2025: Questo posto è perfetto per rilassarsi e godere di ottimo cibo . Personale cordiale e disponibile . Il servizio impeccabile. La struttura è aperta solo nei weekend. Peccato non avere disponibilità per le camere in questo periodo.

12/07/2025: The host recommended us to this tavern, which is only 1 minute away from our residence. The price is very cheap, and it seems like a place where locals would eat. The type of food is a bit like a canteen, but it is already prepared and you can get it directly after ordering; it is not like a restaurant where you order and slowly make the food. The taste is still okay. If you want to pursue a better value for money option, if you want to go to a more refined restaurant, this is not it.
