Gorgonia In Acireale

Santa Tecla, Acireale, CT. Via Argenta, 110. We had two pizzas, not exceptional but good enough. The long wait times were made more bearable by the view from the terrace overlooking the sea. The service staff could do more and better.

Good food and very friendly service. The waiter with glasses speaks English and is very helpful. I recommend both the service and the food. It's nice that they also sell ice cream.

The food is very tasty, the staff tries their best, but the English is 50/50 :) The biggest attraction of the place are the cats, who feel at home here ✌️

We ordered a takeaway pizza. We were very well received and served quickly. The pizza was generous.

The star for the atmosphere is due to the fact that if you don't find a seat on the beautiful, but small, terrace overlooking the sea, you'll end up in a rather ugly, poorly furnished, and very noisy dining room. The staff, while friendly, does what they can, but it's understaffed; the pizza is decent.

Ordered Pizza Roma with extra arugula: little tomato sauce and no melted cheese. The pizza was too salty for my taste. My friend had a four-cheese pizza. It was good but there was extra oil, which wasn't necessarily useful. A 3 euro surcharge for the service. Beautiful sea view: 2 terraces at the back.

My wife and I were here in July. We reserved a table and there was a good atmosphere and a full restaurant. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. We sat outside by the sea. There was plenty of room indoors but I understand that people sit outdoors. Maybe 50 people in total. Here they see wine in a carafe and it was very cheap food. Crackingly good pizza and ice cream and wine and chips.
