I've been going to Golosia for years now and it's always top notch, both the food and the atmosphere. The service is excellent, the waiters are polite and very kind. I recommend it for a quick ice cream or if you want to enjoy a tea, an aperitif or an excellent sandwich.

12/03/2026: Stopped in spontaneously one evening when they opened. Ordered delicious pizza slices to go. Solid and tasty. Friendly staff member on site, little to no English, but we managed to communicate reasonably well.

25/02/2026: If you want to eat well but don't have much time, you've found the right place. High-quality rotisserie and traditional cuisine. Need some advice? Try the Sicilian Pidoni, the arancini, and, during this time of year, the rice salad. Then there's the lasagna, which is fabulous. Also try the stew.
06/02/2026: A simple, clean, and unpretentious place on a side street between Via Garibaldi and the Lungomare promenade. We stopped for lunch and loved it so much we came back the next evening! The pitoni and eggplant meatballs were spectacular, all washed down with a good Messina beer. The staff is incredibly friendly and approachable, making you feel right at home. The prices are very fair. If you're looking for a true, old-fashioned rotisserie, this is the place to go.
