Amazing restaurant. The view and atmosphere is next to nothing in Florence.
The food was amazing, from the main course to the dessert.
Our waiter Agostino was very attentive and made sure we didn’t miss anything at our table while enjoying the food and live music.

La comida estaba bien presentada y deliciosa. Le daría 4 estrellas. Las vieiras eran 5 estrellas, el cordero no era el mejor en mi opinión. El servicio estuvo bien. No es el mejor, pero tampoco el peor. En total 4 estrellas. Además el interior no era tan interesante, por eso le doy 4 estrellas.

After more than 10 years, I can only confirm my positive impression from back then; everything was great. Friendly service, a perfect atmosphere in a wonderful spot at sunset, two perfect menus: From the Sea for those who prefer lighter dishes and fish, and From the Land for those who prefer something more intense and meaty. Please maintain this high standard; great, value-for-money cuisine.

I had a wonderful experience! They accommodated me perfectly and honored my request for a table with a beautiful view, which made the evening even more special. The food was absolutely extraordinary—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly attentive and careful, making sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Highly recommended!

The most sophisticated food we’ve had in the country, and delicious. As the name indicates, there are tables looking right at the ponte vecchio - mostly tables for 2. Food is expensive, but not outrageous. There is a 10e per head cover charge, which I was not expecting. Ended up being 225e for two with a modest bottle of wine. Reserve well ahead.

Every once in a while you have to splurge on dinner when traveling with your family. A white table cloth, a view, and wait staff can really change the vibe. Here the food, service and extras are all worth the spend. The waiter we had was incredibly personable and helpful with a gluten sensitivity, the food was excellent. Fresh hot gluten free french bread, amazing apps, primi, and secondi, not to mention desserts. I would go back...
If you are looking for American sized portions, don't come here. Go get a pizza.

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant randomly, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The food is absolutely incredible, the wine selection is wonderful, and the service is truly impeccable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. And the best part? The view — it makes all the difference!

A wonderful restaurant with an iconic view! A reservation seems to be an absolute must unless you’re visiting during the off season. The staff are exceptional and you will feel welcomed. It was our favorite splurge of our trip to Italy.
Unfortunately my husband became very ill following his meal here. We had shared the same food/water for the previous two weeks - except his meal at Golden View. He had the pre-fix seafood meal. There is always a risk when consuming seafood, so it doesn’t feel right to deduct points from my review as a result. I recommend travelers to perhaps consider the “land” pre-fix meal instead!
