21/01/2026: We ate here a few days ago (Friday lunch, low season) and it was one of the best lunches in Sardinia so far.
Truly a special welcome and exceptional food.
Since artichokes are in season, we were offered a plate of spaghetti and artichokes (also available with sausage or bottarga). Being vegan, we were delighted to find a dish made simply with vegetables and so well done (unfortunately, not everyone knows how to showcase vegetables in the kitchen, but Donato is perfectly capable and passionate about it).
It's not a place with an extensive menu or table service; here, it's a bit like being at home. You eat what the kitchen offers based on the season and help yourself a bit, but always accompanied by excellent conversation and explanations of the dish and every carefully crafted detail.
In short, home-style cooking at a great price (€25 for two dishes and a beer, including homemade taralli! - obviously, if you choose the meat or fish option, I assume it'll be more expensive, rightfully so).
