Golden Bar In Falcone

The bar is so-so... I came in on September 8th for a granita but... I didn't have a great time; it must have been the friendliness of the guys behind the counter. Anyway, for a quick bite, and if the other bars are packed, it's fine!

We're not there yet. Granita practically melted alongside hard brioche, with a panettone-flavored dough. As a Sicilian, you can tell the difference from the original recipe. I don't know if it had to do with the specific day I went, because I've read other reviews mentioning the soft, warm, and flavorful brioche. It's a shame because the location isn't bad and the place is definitely worth a visit.

Fabulous lemon granita. I used to go there in the 70s with my parents. I rediscovered my childhood tastes. Pure pleasure.

Excellent bar. I had really good granitas with cream, and freshly made warm and soft brioches. Tasty and well-filled croissants. Quick service, the staff is friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is nice, the outdoor area is welcoming, and the bathrooms are clean, although there was no paper towel. Recommended.

Since the children took over, it hasn't been the same. The slush is more watered down and the brioches taste like nothing. It's a shame it was a point of reference.

Tried it for the first time.. a pleasant experience.. the granita was very good but the cream was something special.. I recommend it

In my travels in Sicily, Falcone's Golden Bar is a certainty and a safety! The staff is always so friendly and kind! The granitas are always excellent and tasty!! Keep it up!!!
