Excellent fried starters, sublime rigatoni with pajata and baked lamb for the second course... All really good

We had pizza for dinner on a Sunday. They were good but not spectacular, they were not the best we tried in Rome. The positive: the atmosphere, the location and the hours (it is open on Sundays when many other restaurants close). The negative: There is no drinks menu, you order and the price is a surprise (€4 soft drink, one of the most expensive we paid in Rome), they charge you €2 per coperto p.p. (after four days in Rome it was the only place that charged us, nor did they charge us in other restaurants in Trastevere or more touristy ones), the service was not very friendly (serious, they didn't greet... I imagine they were having a bad day) . Edit after the owner's response: Future clients, if you only intend to have one dish and one drink per person: think about it! Apparently they will remember you in a "special" way and will treat you with the same politeness with which they respond to the reviews XD

From SF,CA, USA Recommended to me by a friend from Roma as properly done classic Roman food.. Unbelievable. The coda alla vaccinara (Roman style oxtail) was UNBELIEVABLE…. Everyone was so kind and open to honest recommendations… I almost hesitate to write this because when I return I hope it remains off the tourist map BUT they deserve everything 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻grazieeeee❤️❤️

Bombastic! The pizza tasted exceptional! The serving is wonderfully aesthetic! The service was friendly, charming and even served special desserts upon request. The cheesecake was amazing. This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars!

Rather small but very welcoming place, there is also an outside. Homemade and delicious food, obviously I couldn't help but have the carbonara: exceptional!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint! I made a reservation by messaging them on Facebook. We were celebrating my daughter’s 14th birthday. Everything was fantastic including the food and service. Mostly Italians. Family business. Everything was perfecto!

We found this authentic Italian restaurant while browsing around Rome and it was delightful. The food was delicious and generous, with genuine service from friendly staff. I recommended this place for a tasty dinner with a relaxed yet professional setting. The waiter was also lovely and attentive!

This is a fabulous little restaurant that does authentic Italian food in a quiet square near to the river. We found that the busy restaurants in Trastevere were mass producing food to meet demand but this place is the total opposite. Freshly cooked, excellent ingredients and authentic dishes. Menu is only in Italian but the staff speak good English and Google Translate helps. We are in Rome for a week and are somewhere different each night but this was the best.
