Excellent café in the center of Ponzone where you can find everything from fresh bread to pastries. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Every week there's a new surprise with promotions, games, and new things to try. Highly recommended.

I was invited to an event hosted by Giuly, and I can say that the aperitif we were treated to was plentiful and enjoyable. The service was excellent, but above all, friendly. The place is clean and bright, and you lose track of time while sitting at your table. I highly recommend this place.

A magical place, impeccable hospitality, and a truly fascinating culinary journey. I tried the Milaccia, a local specialty made with locally sourced ingredients, and it was excellent! If I ever get back to this area, I'll definitely be back.

I ordered lunch to go. An experience I'll repeat! The food was prepared on time, the quality of the products (club sandwiches and chips) was excellent, the packaging was fun and cheerful, and the fortune cookies were delicious! I felt pampered and welcomed!

Caffe Ristoro Stazione Cucco e la Civetta

13/02/2026: A typical Biella tavern serving traditional dishes and more. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The food is excellent, very tasty, and beautifully presented. The service is attentive and quick. The orecchiette with porcini mushrooms were phenomenal, fresh, and well-seasoned; they were enough for just the main course. They mainly offer meat dishes; I also had the cod with polenta, which was truly delicious. To finish, an apple strudel with ice cream, also delicious and warm. The location is rustic, like a tavern. I was given a table in the corridor, which is a bit narrow, but all the others are well-placed and spaced out. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming in the winter, and the bathroom is spacious and clean. Parking is a bit far away, being within the restricted traffic zone (ZTL), about 200-300 meters. I will definitely be back.
03/02/2026: Lunch on a gloomy day in Biella, at La Civetta. Since it was already such a humid day, the food was good—polenta was a must, given the slightly cloudy weather.

05/02/2026: What can I say, a unique experience with unique dishes. I chose the "percorsi" tasting menu. AMAZING. An experience you absolutely must do if you're in the area.
02/02/2026: The restaurant is surrounded by somewhat dilapidated buildings and trattoria-like signs that make you wonder if you're in the right place. Fortunately, once you're inside and savor their dishes, any doubts vanish, leaving room for the satisfaction of savoring high-quality cuisine. Of the many Michelin-starred restaurants I've visited in Piedmont, this is certainly one of the best. Each dish was refined and well-crafted, never lacking in nonsense or neglecting flavors and textures. The service was good but aseptic (just a quick briefing about the dish and off we went), a bit slow (we sat down at 1:00 PM, got up after 4:00 PM), and even the chef was glimpsed in the dining room for just 30 seconds to greet someone I believe was a regular. So perhaps I missed the guidance during the tasting experience, but that's a very subjective factor. The price was truly excellent. Ultimately, this is a restaurant you absolutely must try. Highly recommended.
