Giro di Pizza In Sammichele di bari

Found by chance and intrigued by the name, being a cyclist, we decided to stop for a quick break before heading off again. I have to say, the pizza is truly excellent. The dough, in my case a whole-grain one, was truly excellent: light, fragrant, and the ingredients were truly excellent. The same goes for the baked panzerotto my friend ordered, which was really rich in toppings and nice and large. The service was lively and light, which is exactly what you need in that context. Well done everyone. We'll definitely see you again when I return to Sammichele.

Very good pizza, quite spartan place (like many others in the summer season), service a bit slow when it's crowded (although active).

Delicious pizzas, best pizza base ever!

The pizza at this pizzeria until not long ago was a spectacle, lately the pizza is no longer what it used to be and the prices have risen, now I understand the increases etc. but I would like to eat the first (quality) pizza, not the one I ate recently which was raw and rubbery.

Very good pizzeria with a wood-fired oven, where the locals go to eat. We visited it on a Saturday night, two people. We sat outside, got a zampina di Sammichele (local twisted, thin sausage, baked in a clay oven with red sauce), a margherita pizza, a capricciosa pizza (with tomato, chicken prosciutto, tiny onions, artichoke, olives) a beer and a coke and we paid €24. Very tasty flavors, especially the wood-fired pizzas, with thin dough. Only downside, the wait for quite a while (more than usual), due to the many customers there.

Quality, reasonable prices and courtesy we find in this characteristic pizzeria in Sammichele di Bari!!! In our opinion one of the best in the country and beyond!!!! We will return as many times as we can. Congratulations!!!!!
