The lit door invites you to take refuge in the warmth. Luck is on our side. There's room for two, despite a fortunate cancellation (reservations are required). I can't adequately describe this charming little restaurant, because it's a place full of details and perfectly fitted details. The smiling manager explains the menu, which appears like a delicate watercolor in his hands. Hand-cut prosciutto, aged for a long time. The fat is nectar that melts and blends with the bread. I give in to the lure of truffles with ancient grains. I understand the meaning of the watercolor precisely because the food releases a thousand colors of flavor in my mouth. A glass of ruby-red Sagrantino and, to finish, dessert. A tart. No, THE tart.
