Gio's In Venezia

Magnificent location, I think one of the most beautiful in Venice. Excellent food and pleasant staff. The price remains a little expensive but this can be understood by the view and the quality of the meals. I recommend!

Best service we’ve had in Italy during our 2 week honeymoon! Francesca greeted us at the host stand with a friendly smile and was very hospitable and my wife and I genuinely felt like she was happy to see us and cared that we had an amazing experience. Once seated, our server Thomas, provided us with stellar service from the beginning to the very end. He was always so polite and kind. The food was AMAZING! We ordered the lobster, lamb, and octopus. Best food we’ve had in Venice! Actually best dishes we’ve had in Italy! And one thing I forgot to mention was the views… 2nd to none in the whole city. The atmosphere was PERFECT! After lunch, we got a tiramisu on the house and written on it was “happy honeymoon.” It was so unexpected and the most pleasant surprise we’ve received this entire trip. The attention to detail from the staff and hospitality was unmatched. From start to finish this restaurant has left a lifelong impression us. I will never forget how amazing of an experience we had here and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Francesca, Thomas, and the rest of the staff at Gio’s Restaurant & Terrace!

Stepping onto the terrace of this hidden gem in Venice felt like walking into a scene from a classic film - elegant, timeless, and effortlessly romantic. The staff welcomed us with such warmth that we instantly felt at ease, like regulars at a place we’d only just discovered. The view? Absolutely breathtaking. The food lived up to the setting in every way. I don’t usually go for lamb, but their take on it completely won me over: tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted, and the service was as polished as the silverware - attentive without ever being intrusive. A perfect lunch I won’t soon forget. Thank you!

The service is excellent, the food and drinks are very delicious. It is a place with high prices on average than other places. The view of the Grand Canal is spectacular.

We had a lovely spot outside on the terrace and ordered the tiramisu twice. When it was served to us, we realized that the cocoa layer was way too high and you couldn't eat it without making a huge mess. Then we also discovered that the tiramisu had been rotting in the fridge for a long time and the tongue biscuits had completely dissolved and the metal bowl in which it was delivered was extremely cold... The cream was good, the rest of the timarisu was unfortunately a total disappointment, and all for €24, blatant. P.S Service and ambience 10/10

O restaurante tem entrada bem difícil de achar. O atendimento é impecável! Fizemos reserva e ficamos na parte de fora tomando um drink ( sem álcool) antes de entrar para almoçar. Tem a opção de almoçar do lado de fora também, porém o cardápio é diferente. Entramos e acho que não fomos felizes nas escolhas. Como não falamos italiano e pouco inglês, acabamos entendendo errado e pedimos coisas que não agradam nosso paladar. 1 Entrada, 2 carboidratos e 1 proteína, 3 drink sem álcool e 2 águas ficou $317. Eu achei que não vale a pena! Imaginei outra coisa, que fosse um lugar maior e com vista mais privilegiada. As fotos me enganaram bem.

GIO’s, all’interno del magnifico St. Regis Venice, è un posto indimenticabile. La location, con la terrazza affacciata sul Canal Grande, è pura magia. Il personale è stato impeccabile, estremamente cortese e attento a ogni dettaglio, facendoci sentire coccolati dall’inizio alla fine. Un luogo che non è solo un ristorante, ma un’esperienza unica. Consigliatissimo!
