Gioelia's gelateria is one of the best-known in Benevento and is centrally located on the main street. The gelato is excellent; I recommend trying the "mascarpone con profumo di strega" (mascarpone with Strega scent), the city's signature liqueur.

A pleasure to return. High-quality ingredients, just the right creaminess and temperature, and a skillful mix of ingredients. All at very reasonable prices considering the overall quality and service. The restaurant is welcoming and the staff are courteous, and the overall offering is just right, ranging from seasonal to classic dishes. Recommended.

Excellent gelateria on Benevento's main street. Carefully selected flavors for their gelato. The granitas are also excellent, and taste more like cream than a traditional granita. Recommended

Fresh and delicious ice cream, you can see they use quality ingredients because you don’t feel heavy after eating it. My favorite of all time is Krok and Cream. Real vanilla there.

15/07/2025: We celebrated my husband's birthday at the Altura Resort and it was a wonderful party. The location was stunning, the service impeccable, and the cuisine was exquisite and delicious. We had a wonderful time. Thanks to Ciro and Fabio, two fantastic hosts.
08/07/2025: We celebrated our son's 18th birthday party at a dream location, the Altura Resort. We immediately felt pampered by the entire staff, who listened to our ideas for the decor and theme of the evening. Ciro, Cetta, and Daniela were truly helpful and kind and were able to recommend the menu to our guests, who still today compliment us on the excellent food selection and the beauty and refinement of the venue and the decor. To top it all off, a brilliant vocalist and DJ enlivened the evening with poolside dancing. We couldn't have chosen better, and I recommend this resort to everyone, not only for the beauty of the location and the gorgeous pools, but also for the friendliness and professionalism of the owners, to whom we extend our THANK YOU once again!!! We'll definitely see you again 😉❤️

17/08/2025: I had lunch there with my family. I searched for and chose the place because I'm celiac, so I was worried they wouldn't like it, but everyone was very satisfied with the quality of the food. The portions were unexpectedly generous (and the bill was a pleasant surprise!), but despite that, they happily polished it off. As a celiac, I also ate a huge amount of good food. A special mention for Maria, the young woman who served us the entire time: very gracious, sweet, and kind. The place gave us a welcoming and familiar feeling. The bathrooms were clean and smelled fresh. Outside, there's a large, very relaxing green area. We'll be back.
