In a location like this, you'd expect a restaurant geared entirely towards catering to tourists with mediocre cuisine. And that's exactly what you get here. The dough bears little resemblance to proper pizza dough, and the ham is of poor quality. Anyone looking for authentic Italian dishes should look further afield, away from the tourist crowds.

A very tasty pizzeria right on the main square in Lazise, ​​near the harbor. The prices are okay, but the service is world-class! The same staff has been there for years, which speaks for itself...

The food was good. The service could be improved. The waiter at the street counter was rather unfriendly, and you could tell they wanted to cram as many people as possible into the smallest possible space. You also have to wait a bit longer to be served, and sometimes drink orders are forgotten.

Nine days in Castelnuovo del Garda. And every day for dinner in Lazise, ​​of course to Gio e Max. We weren't disappointed once. Very, very friendly staff. Excellent food and generous portions. I'm already looking forward to next year.
