looking for a pizza place in genova at lunch time in mid-august was harder than expected. everything either closed for holidays or only open for dinner. then we realized sorbillo had a restaurant here and decided to give it a try, since it’s usually reliable. the ambience was lovely, all light blue and airy. the pizza selection was solid, with some options featuring pesto that felt very regional. i had to try one of those. it turned out to be a really good pizza. the dough was on the thinner side, so it was light and easy to digest, and the toppings (especially the pesto) were excellent quality. overall, a very pleasant experience and definitely a place i’d come back to.

We came this afternoon. A very good option in the center of Genoa if you don't know where to eat. The price is excellent compared to other restaurants in the area. The attention from Francesca, who speaks perfect Spanish!!!, and the attention from Giancarlo are undeniably incredible!!! My mom and I, who came from Andorra, left very happy!! ☺️☺️

We had a great time and ate twice over three days. They welcomed us 15 minutes before closing time. The pizzas were well-filled and delicious. Kudos to the pizza chef and the welcome was fantastic. Thank you, Miles!

The history of Pizzeria Sorbillo is one of family, tradition, and success in the world of Neapolitan pizza. The tradition continues: Pizzeria Sorbillo is not just a place to enjoy pizza, but also a symbol of Neapolitan culture and a passion for cooking. The Sorbillo story is a testament to how passion, tradition, and innovation can lead to success in the restaurant world. Today, Sorbillo locations can be found in various Italian cities and abroad, carrying on the tradition of authentic Neapolitan pizza. _______________________________________ We stopped in Genoa on our way to Liguria, starting from Rapallo, where we're staying overnight. As Neapolitans, we went to this pizzeria. It's like being in Naples: the quality of the pizza and its ingredients are very good and meet Neapolitan standards. I recommend it.

16/07/2025: Few dishes to choose from, but very tasty. Generous portions. The ravioli with meat sauce are highly recommended! I haven't tried the pizza, but it looks excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven. Friendly waiters. Prices are perhaps a little above average.
