Gino e la Giraffa In Avellino

I had a second course with a side dish, suckling pig with potatoes. The suckling pig, although I thought it was overcooked, was delicious and very tender (the chef explained that if you leave it slightly pink inside, they'll send it back). The baked potatoes were cooked perfectly and a generous portion. Good and fast service, a great experience!

Locale storico che non avevo mai avuto il piacere di provare. Mi è stato consigliato da un'amica e lo provo con piacere. L'esperienza è stata davvero unica,posto molto tranquillo,curato e con un'atmosfera romantica. La cena è stata straordinaria,una vera esperienza di sapori particolari e proposte nuove. Sono rimasto davvero molto colpito. Personale di servizio cordiale e attento,per non parlare di Ada che è una vera professionista. Consigliatissimo,tappa obbligatoria nell'eccellenza di Avellino.

I gave it full marks because this place deserves it from every point of view. Good starter and not too abundant (which I appreciate because it leaves room to try other things without getting full). Ravioli with truffle (made as it should be), Super sliced ​​meat and finally delicious pork fillet. We took an Aglianico Iole Andreotti but they also have less "demanding" wines. Very particular location and prices in line with the average (in my opinion very honest, given the quality of the products). Perfect service. I will go back without a doubt.

Typical tavern located in the center of Avellino, a stone's throw from Piazza Libertà. The environment is very nice with relaxing music in the background. Good quality of raw materials and excellent preparation with truffles. Honorable mention for the Cube roll cooked with butter and truffle, a spectacular dish.

I went for lunch, quality food and particular flavours. Spaghetti with tomato were truly superlative...

Ristorante situato nel centro storico di Avellino locale molto carino, accogliente e curato nei minimi particolari. Cucina tipica molto attenta alle tradizioni. Ho avuto modo di gustare un delizioso risotto ai frutti di mare, passando poi ad una irresistibile scaloppina ai funghi porcini per non parlare dei classici “salsicce e friarielli” e delle gustose zuppe di legumi. Ristorante praticamente a conduzione familiare, personale molto cortese e sempre attento alle esigenze dei clienti. Difficilmente do il massimo dei voti ma questo posto li merita tutti. Una piccola nota negativa relativa al parcheggio essendo in pieno centro armatevi di pazienza anche se a circa centro metri troverete un grande parking multipiano. Consigliatissimo
