Gino e la Giraffa In Avellino

We went for lunch today, the owners were very friendly, we felt at home, we will return.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to dine at Osteria Gino e la Giraffa in Avellino and I was pleasantly impressed by the menu, the quality of the dishes and the hospitality of the staff. The really nice restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere vaguely reminiscent of Parisian restaurants. The menu is truly varied with typical dishes of Avellino cuisine, but also many others, well presented so that in addition to the pleasure of the palate it also combines that of the eyes. The staff is always very attentive and helpful and a special mention goes to Ada and her son. I would say that in Avellino this Osteria really makes the difference.

Cozy place, friendly, polite and professional staff. Traditional Irpinian and non-Irpinian dishes, prepared to perfection. A refined cuisine that transmits passion. Excellent choice of wines. We will definitely be back.

Pleasant welcome and very kind and professional service despite the very young age of the waiters, among which stands out the sunny smile and lively presence of Niccolò who was very attentive to our needs. We had lunch today with some local friends, and we had a really pleasant Sunday. Welcoming and friendly staff, quality food and reasonable prices. Among the appetizers I recommend the egg with local truffle!

The restaurant is located in a strategic position, a few steps from Piazza Libertà, and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is full of typical Avellino cuisine dishes, but also many other refined and modern dishes, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I have tasted several dishes, all very well presented and a real pleasure for the eyes and the palate. The staff is very kind and attentive to customer needs. In particular, I would like to mention Carmine, Ada, Concetta, Rita and Grazia, who made my experience even more pleasant. If you are looking for a great dining experience in Avellino, I highly recommend you try Osteria Gino e la Giraffa.

Given the reviews, I expected better. Very nice environment. Really long wait for the first courses.

Si dice nella botte piccola sta il vino buono questo per dire che il locale non è molto grande ma si mangia divinamente e sei accolto dalla titolare con molta simpatia. Locale una garanzia per chi ama il buon cibo.
