Gianfocaccia&co In Milano

A small, family-run business that bakes authentic focaccias, faithful to Ligurian tradition. The Recco version is incredibly delicious, simple and super-greasy, as per Genoese tradition, but the vegetable versions and pizza are also delicious. A must-try, a little gem waiting to be discovered!

The focaccia and farinata are excellent. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and it's a pleasure to chat.

I never leave reviews, but in this case I was struck by the helpfulness and kindness of the lady. The food was very good and the service excellent.

I discovered it by chance. I live on the other side of Milan, and I come here specifically to get pizza and focaccia to put in the freezer. The "fluctuating" opening hours and the "let's hope they have what I want" selection, especially in the afternoon, would make me give it 3 stars. However, the products are exceptional (in my opinion, the best in Milan), the staff is super friendly, and the quality/price ratio is unbeatable. If you find the owner at the counter, you'll be amazed by how special she is. Kudos to them for finding a way to run a successful place by doing what they love at their own pace.
