GIACUDA - Braceria In Palo del colle

We visited Giacuda Braceria in Palo del Colle and had a truly excellent experience. We started with a selection of spectacular raw fish: the freshest beef carpaccio topped with arugula, parmesan shavings, and a drizzle of olive oil that enhanced the flavor without overpowering it. Tender and superior quality. The pancetta served with warm crostini was also excellent, a simple yet perfectly executed combination. We then moved on to the grill... and that's where it really takes things to the next level. Mixed cuts masterfully cooked, juicy, tender meat with that light crust that only a well-done grill can provide. Precise cooking, intense flavor, and top-quality ingredients. A side dish of roasted potatoes, golden on the outside and soft on the inside, well-seasoned and not at all greasy. The involtini were also worthy of applause, flavorful and well-balanced. Welcoming place, warm atmosphere, and friendly, attentive service. Absolutely fair value for what you get. For those who love authentic grilled meat in the area, this is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, friendly but a little impersonal staff, the atmosphere is pleasant, but sometimes some people should learn to control their voice.

It's definitely a place I recommend as a better alternative to the usual Sammichele and its two well-known grill restaurants. It's closer, the meat is good, the place is nice, the service is quick, you're not packed like those two places, and the price is reasonable. Go there and tell me later. There's some parking issues, but that's certainly not their fault. They also have a summer location, which has its pros and cons. It's outdoors, so it's a bit chilly in the evenings but pleasant; the smoke from the barbecue can be a problem depending on the wind. There's a children's playground nearby, which would be a lifesaver if it weren't in near-total darkness. It's obviously quieter than the indoor location, the only downside being the high flames and the meat being too close, which resulted in it getting a bit too burnt. So, 4 stars for the summer location, which I wasn't quite as impressed with than the winter one. Oh, and the staff could be a little more courteous.
