Excellent Roman home cooking restaurant, if you want to eat a typical dish this is the right place, to taste the pallotte (cheese meatballs) Tripe Roma, and to order the pajata, here no less the aubergines parmigiana. Highly recommended, even for pizza only in the evening, wood-fired oven.

09/07/2024: Hidden by a bar but inside there is a restaurant I went in for a snack and ate a remarkable lamb with grilled vegetables and some real grilled vegetables with the scent of wood, just water and coffee! The place is spartan but has the quality of an old country house! It's a shame for the cook who is better off staying in the kitchen because she isn't very friendly unlike the other two people who serve! If you are in the area go and visit them because the quality is excellent

19/08/2024: Went as part of a tour for a local vineyard but this place deserves extra mention. Great stop to sample wines from the immediate area, long table seating. The wines on sample have a distinct difference based on the volcanic soil of Frascati. It is tucked in a corner piazza and has a rustic charm you can’t find in Rome- which is below across the short valley. Great place to do what locals do-sample wines from a rotating selection of local vineyards. Had great discussions of Italian bands with the owner too, ask about Banco del mutuo Succorso! Hidden gem.
05/06/2024: Grazie per avermi fatto tornare indietro con il tempo , alla vecchia e tradizionale cantina frascatana, con prodotti eccellenti, e un servizio che mi ha fatto sentire a casa , tornerò sicuramente una sera , troppi prodotti non ho potuto assaggiare e soprattutto c'è un vinello che merita attenzione A presto
