Ho avuto l’occasione di cenare presso "Il ghiotto" con amici. È stata un’ottima scelta. Il ristorante ha una buonissima posizione, l’ambiente è accogliente, il personale gentile e il cibo ci è piaciuto moltissimo.
Io ho mangiato un’anatra squisita, tutti i piatti sono ricercati e raffinati.
Da segnarselo, se si passa per Assisi!

We stopped to eat by chance, before visiting the Basilica of San Francesco. The place is small but well looked after and finally a setting with cotton tablecloths! Seasonal menu with excellent raw materials. Well cooked and presented with description from the staff. Excellent homemade bread and an interesting wine list: we quickly selected a Jura pinot noir from the independent vignoiron. Optimal! We will be back and truly recommend it.

Really interesting, delicious Umbrian food. Waiters were awesome. Very prompt replying by email which was important given we were a group of 12 people. Be aware the menu on the website is no longer accurate.. however all food was still excellent

We had the pleasure of having lunch today at the Ghiotto Restaurant in Assisi and we were thrilled! The norcina meatballs with ricotta and truffle cream were simply delicious, an explosion of well-balanced flavours. The umbricelli with wild boar sauce and the gnocchi with goat ragù were also rich and tasty dishes, prepared with high quality ingredients. A special mention goes to the homemade bread with hemp flour and walnuts, a gem that made the meal even more special. Highly recommended for those who want to live a true Umbrian gastronomic experience!
