We had dinner two nights in a row. The first time everything was excellent. The second night the pasta was raw and the dessert was stale. A place that is still recommended

Very very satisfied. Had dinner with 7 friends, greeted with elegance and courtesy. The service is definitely over the top. The white tablecloths were appreciated. The cuisine stands out with a short menu that is nevertheless adequate to satisfy various needs. All the 8 dishes chosen were tasty and well cooked. The wine list is excellent. Highly recommended.

An inventive menu offering twists on Umbrian favorites, Giotto was a surprisingly good find in a land of pizza restaurants. Not that there's anything wrong with those, we had some outstanding pizzas in Assisi. But if you're looking for a place with an upscale vibe in a comfortable setting, professional and friendly service and quality dining offerings then Giotto is your place.

We have hard the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Ghiotto three times. This is one of our go-to restaurants in Assisi. Atmosphere, cuisine and staff are all excellent in our experience.

Bel locale tranquillo; atmosfera piacevole ; servizio gentile e impeccabile; Polpetta alla norcina con pane salsiccia e ricotta; cannelloni con baccalà mantecato e piselli e pipe alle sarde burrata: tutto ottimo; piatti ben presentati e gustosi; Dolce charlotte al cocco e cioccolato: perfetto; rapporto qualità prezzo adeguato al servizio; assolutamente raccomandabile 4.5 stelle

Ho avuto l’occasione di cenare presso "Il ghiotto" con amici. È stata un’ottima scelta. Il ristorante ha una buonissima posizione, l’ambiente è accogliente, il personale gentile e il cibo ci è piaciuto moltissimo. Io ho mangiato un’anatra squisita, tutti i piatti sono ricercati e raffinati. Da segnarselo, se si passa per Assisi!

26/05/2025: It really is Sunday lunch. Relive the culinary emotion you felt when you had lunch at grandma's on Sundays. The healthy atmosphere you felt, the aromas, the welcome that grandma was able to give you unconditionally. Here is the visual description I can give you after having lunch at Monte Frumentario. A wide selection of wines will accompany the dishes you want to taste. I recommend the ricotta-filled ravioli served with a pistachio sauce.

10/06/2025: We spent 3 nights at this inn and had a really great time. The room was well-kept, very clean, with a panoramic view of the hills and Perugia. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with gluten-free options managed with extreme care (the homemade bread is delicious). We stopped one evening at the restaurant and it did not disappoint our expectations: everything was excellent. The staff was kind and welcoming, we felt at home. A highly recommended facility!
08/06/2025: We stayed at this inn for a weekend in Umbria. The location is strategic because it is central to the main towns to visit. The room was very comfortable, clean, well furnished and with an eye to recovery and low environmental impact. The real surprise, however, was the restaurant! Each dish offers traditional flavors as a treat for the palate that evokes memories of home-made dishes. We also really appreciated the courtesy and professionalism of the owner and her staff who also accompanied us during breakfast. It will definitely be our point of reference if we were to return to the area!
