Simona, Alessandro, Dajana, Eduard, Simone, Anna: these could be any five names. Yet in this case, they correspond to the team at Gerry's Bar/Tabaccheria in Piazza Ponte Lungo, Rome. A sincere thank you to each of them—especially Simona—for their welcome, which is by no means a given, and the empathy that characterizes them.

I want to sincerely thank the young woman who works at this bar for her extraordinary kindness and helpfulness. It was around 5:00 in the morning when, after the Ultimo concert, we found ourselves completely stranded, with no battery in our phones, unable to find a taxi, and no way to get back to the hotel because we had to leave for the airport at 7:00, so we were really pressed for time. We were truly at the mercy of events. She, without even knowing us, didn't hesitate to help us, offered her support, personally called a taxi for us, and made us feel welcomed in a very difficult moment. Meanwhile, we also had breakfast at the bar and found a welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. Thank you so much for your kindness, your helpfulness, and your smile. A gesture that may seem simple to some, but for us, it truly made a difference. People like this deserve to be recognized. Highly recommended!

I frequent this place and always have a great time. The bar is fantastic: the croissants and bomboloni are always fresh, fragrant, and delicious, perfect with an excellent coffee. Besides breakfast, the convenience of having a tobacconist and a 24-hour self-service vending machine outside makes this place a super convenient place to go any time of day. The prices are very fair (around €1-10 per person). Highly recommended!
