Geppy's Bistrot In Ventimiglia

We stopped at Geppy’s Bistrot for lunch while passing through Ventimiglia, and I’m really glad we did. It’s just a short walk from the train station, but once you're inside, it feels calm, modern, and quietly elegant — a bit of a hidden gem. The lunch menu was small but thoughtful. I had a ravioli dish that was fresh and beautifully balanced — not heavy, but still full of flavour. Portions weren’t huge, but just right for a midday meal, especially if you’re continuing your day afterwards. Everything felt well-prepared and seasonal, and the plating had that nice attention to detail without being overdone. Service was friendly but discreet, and we appreciated how relaxed the atmosphere was — not rushed, not loud, just a comfortable pace. It’s the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your food and maybe linger a bit with a coffee or glass of wine. If you’re in Ventimiglia and want something better than a quick bite but not overly formal, I’d absolutely recommend it for lunch. It’s a quiet, quality break from the bustle of travel.

Spacious and pleasant restaurant serving delicious Italian dishes, close to the market and Ventimiglia train station. The fried food is very good. Fresh, homemade ingredients.

Bistro... We ate there for lunch, a salad. It was very average. The salad leaves were black. We didn't try the other dishes. The restaurant is located right in the city center, the decor is nice but the place is noisy.

I went to dinner at this restaurant last night for the first time, the place is really clean and the tables are well spaced, the waiters are kind and helpful, the dishes are definitely good and the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Excellent value for money. I recommend it with full marks

Wonderful experience here. Staff are friendly and seated me before restaurant opened the food was outstanding and the combination of goat cheese and honey on bread with red wine will be remembered.
