Informal environment, friendly staff, good quality products

The location of the restaurant is nice, welcoming and well furnished, although I would have preferred softer lights, given that the lighting was quite strong for my tastes. The menu offers a good variety of first courses, second courses, pizzas and appetizers. We chose a fried fish as an appetizer, which unfortunately disappointed us: the fried fish included a lot of battered vegetables, not indicated on the menu. After pointing this out to the waitress, they brought us an additional plate of fried fish only, a gesture we appreciated. The pizzas were the real highlight of the evening: really excellent, with quality ingredients and well balanced. Even if a little small, they were still substantial thanks to the thick dough, especially in the cornice. The desserts did not convince us: the chocolate cake, which I love, did not have the warm and creamy center that I expected, resulting more similar to a plum cake. Even the tiramisu didn't seem homemade and I wasn't completely satisfied. The service was sufficient: friendly and attentive, but without particular enthusiasm. Overall, a decent experience, with ups and downs.
